You know how I know that none of these selfish, entitled shoplifters on this website have kleptomania, despite the amount of times they use that excuse?

One of the main symptoms of kleptomania is shame, remorse and guilt. They hate what they are doing, they are the furthest thing from proud of it, they want to stop, but their condition prevents them from stopping. The gratification and relief they get from stealing the item is fleeting, and is quickly replaced with a sense of self-loathing and regret.

They literally cannot resist the urges they get, and they hate it.

None of the “lifters” I’ve seen on this website fit that description whatsoever. They fucking brag about their “hauls” on their blogs, put up pictures of the items they stole with the price tag of each, feign victimization about almost getting caught, and do everything in their power to make themselves look like the victims, and pin the people whose hours are going to get cut as a result as the “bad guys”.
