While I agree that's not always the best way to go about things, if this IS the case they may have made the throwaway account to protect the identity of the victim or themselves as to not be wrapped up in the drama while still getting the word out. Spose we can't know which until someone confirms.

It doesnt sound like he has first hand knowledge of what happened and it seems to me that he's just repeating something that someone told him. Imo people shouldn't be making comments like this unless they for sure know what went down.

If someone does know what happened, maybe they should make it clear to us so that we dont overreact or go on some unfounded witch hunting

That's highly unlikely but I won't completely write it off since its the only thing we've heard. This might be why others who know are too afraid to speak on it
