Sure they're some French pop stars who are your generic autotuned popstars (Indila for example) but I would say someone like Stromae is pretty talented, same with Black M or Maître Gims. Plus Édith Piaf is like the first French Pop star and she has arguably the best voice in history

Gonna play Devil's Advocate on this one. I think the inflection and situation should make it clear that this was in jest. I don't think she's a patriot or anything, but I really didn't take it as a genuine disdain for the nation. Hell, if people took the things I said seriously, I'd have been burned at a stake years ago.

Far more serious issues to address, in my opinion. EDIT:

If she was even hinting at being serious, it was for good reason. I'm disgusted by the gluttony, laziness, and compliance of modern America myself. And that's not in jest. Seeing people riding scooters around and harp on about how they're discriminated against gets my blood boiling. A tray full of donuts that are 90g of pure sugar carbs would be enough to turn my stomach too.

No, there were cuts in the video between those events. She said it in the context of whatever the lady brought out. Doesn't change the fact that licking store donuts is nasty, but her "I hate america" was absolutely in response to those donuts.
