Most likely joining because qu1ncy_bl00d_br0s or some guilt-tripping regarding his grandfather is my guess.

Ryuken's most likely doesn't want to be a part of this (hence why he didn't want the "last quincy" moniker and be in action the last few arcs so that he doesn't attract attention). I'm guessing he's the sort of guy that would rather not get involved in conflicts and probably been chilling with Isshin, Urahara's bankai, and Unohana so he's not going to be showing up anytime soon.

My guess is that Uryu is going to be misguided for a while, but Ichigo will confront him similar to Naruto and Sasuke and they'll both fight Yhwach in the end (one is likely to be fatally defenestrated (edit: physically thrown out the window, I know what this word means -_-) though, I think...)

Defenestration means thrown out a window...just thought you should know

He was fatally thrown out of a window.

It doesn't get any more kakkoii than that.

It also means to remove someone from their position of power, like politically, but yea it's just not right to use that word... because he keeps thinking it means a more aggressive version of defeat, at least with his context.

He was using it wrong in his last submitted topic as well. He won't give it up, might as well just let him use his newly learned vocab word.

Nah, you don't have to impose what you think I think the word is being used for. Besides, you've got it wrong - it's being used in its intended context. As in I think Uryu is going to be physically thrown out a window.

Yea I can pretend I meant something else when I use the wrong word too.

Hmm, so what would prove that I intended the actual definition? Just wondering what standards of evidence I would have to provide so you don't think of me as that foolish...

[–]Anti_shallow_quotes 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

no, he's being stubborn - I read your past post and you obviously acknowledged the definition of it with your reply to the top comment. If you knew the definition then, there's no way you used it unintentionally here.

Well you've used it a few times thinking it meant something else, which anyone can spot right away with the other words you put around it, signifying you thought it meant something else, then you act like the whole time you really did just mean thrown out a window or forced someone out of office by political takeover.

Sorry, I thought by repeating "lethally defenestrate" that people would get I'm using "throwing out the window" for comedic effect, especially since the entire post was a parody post.

I don't know man, by your standards I could say something like "get boondoggled" jokingly (obvs knowing the definition and that I don't actually mean for you to waste money, but rather as a superlative to emphasize a comedic quip at you) and you could claim that I just found a new word in the thesaurus and don't know how to use it.

Nice try man, nice try. You used superlative and emphasize wrong, and wrongly defined and used boondoggled as well. Just sayin >_>. It's quite obvious you literally did try to say something with new words just now, used a thesaurus, or somehow managed to find those words, I really have no idea, because I actually spent 10 minutes of my lunch trying to insert the right words to make your sentences make sense, and I could not.... Unless I totally changed the other words around, and made you say something completely different.

[–]Anti_shallow_quotes 1ポイント2ポイント  (0子コメント)

dude what's your problem? OP is trying to post some mildly entertaining shit and you're stuck on trying to condescendingly demean him.

Boondoggled = waste money, emphasize = put focus, superlative = exaggeration. He used them correctly. Let me translate for you if you are unable to make sense of it:

"I don't know man, with your attitude on obsessing over this I could say something like "get boondoggled" jokingly (given I know boondoggled is defined as "to waste money" but that I don't physically mean for you to waste money, but rather just to use a exaggeration of action verbs to put focus on comedic jeering, similar to "get rekt") and you could claim that I just found a new word in the thesaurus and don't know how to use it."

Urahara's bankai

What theory is this?

The theory that we aint ever gonna see it.

Oh. I completely missed that meaning of his wording.

Yeah I've been thinking that Ichigo will turn Uryu back in the penultimate fight, and that they will then fight Yhwach together. I could even see Uryu ending up dead, almost as a "look what war and hatred does to people" kind of symbol

He probably understands how strong Juha is and thinks the best way to defeat him is to be the double agent. Uryu drank his blood though, I think Uryu will turn into some sort of Vessel for Juha.

He's probably a double agent, and Yhwach knows he's a double agent, and Uryuu knows Yhwach knows he's a double agent.

[–]JuhaWhiteEngetsuGOOOD MOOORNINGG IIICHIGOOOOO 0

Agreed

Uryu knew he knew for quite some time, when Hash whispered in his ear about them knowing, and made him shit himself and everything. So he's acting like he's stuck and must serve him no matter what, but still thinks he can carry out his part of the plan with Ryuuken, and meanwhile maybe Hash is doing the exact same thing, acting like he is totally loyal, but not risking letting Uryu know he is also faking it, because he's smart enough to know Bach can see and hear everything he does.... But even then, he still knows Hash will betray him, because he foresaw it before Hash attempted to hide his true motives.

[–]smallchristmaslightsMy betrayal was all part of Grimmjow's keikaku

Yeah, it seemed pretty obvious to me that he is a double agent. He could also be working for Urahara or Ryuuken. Yhwach most likely knows this and will use him as a vessel before he could try anything...

Yea, Ryuuken is pretty god damn smart and powerful too. He might know something about the Quincies, about Bach, and how to possibly defeat him, and most likely set up a plan with Uryu to take him down, maybe even with Urahara as well. Uryu is doing his part and Ryuuken is doing his part somewhere though, at the very least those two are working on something together.

Obviously the Sternritter knows he exists, and they would not ignore his existence while he is alive and out and about, so they got involved off-screen at one point, tried to recruit him, and he's either feinting death or they totally know he's hiding somewhere, because he definitely isn't a double agent as well, otherwise he'd be in on the attacks and stuff as well, but it's just Uryu.

They wouldn't just let him live and go on about his business though, because they know even if he doesn't outwardly show off his reiatsu, they know he has the Quincy powers, so something happened between them off screen, he disappeared to secretly carry out his part of the plan, and Uryu is working on setting things up for Ryuuken to finally do his part.

Probably joined to get revenge due to his mother's death but it backfired and now he's stuck.

[–]redditrandomacc"I'd never leave you, Renji" - Love, Bazz-B :')

Uyruu right now, but I still think he has something up his sleeve. It probably won't work, but still.

He's pulling either a Bazz B where he's joining and getting close just to kill him or he's a pulling a Hashbrowns where it's then realized he has the potential for so much more by being loyal. Or maybe a mix of the two and wants to actually become the next Quincy King and run shit his own way. Or maybe kill them all. Actually, my final answer is: "The fuck if I know, cuz Kubo."

This is the correct answer because fucking kubo.

I personally feel that he is somehow playing the role of a double agent,** but for what reason I do not know.**

..... What do you think it means to be a double agent? To betray the second team you joined. Aka... his plan is to betray Bach, and stop him and his army from winning.

And yea, it's been stated that Hash and Bach already know he's planning to betray him. Hash kinda thinks he can convince him through fear, and acknowledgement of what he originally planned to do, to instead just be subordinate to them, but Bach knows what he's going to do, that's why he doesn't even bother saying anything to him, like "I know you wanna kill me cuz I screwed you over in the past, but I'll murder you and the whole rest of the world if you try." because he knows, or thinks he knows, that no matter what anyone tries at this point they won't be able to stop him. He thinks he's too big and omnipotent to fail now.

Spoiler, inside information:

This is obviously a swerve. Uryuu will say that the first step to beating your opponent is gaining knowledge of him, then he'll say that so far, he has nothing creating innumerable mushroom cloud expirations. Yahwehch will feel somewhat slighted by this, say "No matter" and change into his final form, something like this or this. Yahwehch will then chase them for a bit, Haschwalth will say that he will never forget the promise he made to Bazz (RIP, you all know it's coming) and activate his legendary 200 year old asspull to slow down Y just enough for Uryuu and Ichigo to deliver the final blow. Chad will punch something."

how did your post not get deleted for saying asspull? Is the automod dead?

Chad will punch something.

That's pretty much the maximum relevancy Chad can reach.

[–]rickEbobby"Yes, I let the dogs out."

Wow.....this sounds......extremely possible

[–]Alluka-I'm a dirty slut 2

I think he originally wanted to join Yhwach to take him out just like Bazz and Haschwalth.

I don't think he has a choice in the matter anymore so he's forced to fight on Yhwach's side.

the way i see it, hes just doing it because hes a loyal quincy no matter what

I believe that Yhwach told Uryu he could make him the most powerful Quincy ever, right? I think Uryu went with him for the purpose of getting stronger (because who wants to be shown up by Ichigo?) and has no true loyalty to Yhwach. It's training- then it'll be betrayal!

Taking this further, Uryuu will say that he had to acquire the ultimate Quincy power to take on the ultimate Shinigami potential (Ichigo) to settle the war and give supremacy to one side. Ichigo will say something like "You idiot, it doesn't have to be like this". This will then either lead to an epic fight where Ichigo wins and saves his friend through the power of friendship, or Yahwehch is angered by Uryuu stepping away from the fight and taking power back. This leads to an Ichigo & Uryuu v. Yahwehch fight in which they defeat him...using the power of friendship.

I wanna see a Street Fighter II ending, where they combine their ultimate attacks, and they swirl together, and hits Bison and knocks his ass through the moon.

Didn't Hashbrowns say ages ago that he knew that Uryuu joined them in order to avenge his mother, but by unknowingly taking on a schrift he now has no way of leaving their side?

He pulled a Sasuke

He's busy making another album in AFI.

What I'm wondering is, where is he heading now? He and the elites parted different ways, so I doubt he is going towards Ichigo's group.

uhhh
didn't he totally "save" his friends by going like "they couldn't have lived from this fall let's leave now"
he's definitely not going to stay a baddy unless ywach does some crazy shit on him.

He joined for revenge

I'd been thinking that Yhwach needed Uryu's body for something, like the Oorochimaru / Sasuki plot in Naruto. And Uryu simply joined up with plans to take Bach down.

But now it seems Bach's ascended without needing to sacrifice Uryu in some manner, so I'm not so sure why Uryu was a valued acquisition for Bach anymore.

Yhwach tapped Uryu as the successor for some reason. Unknown powers of Uryu's or some strategery to pull the wool over the Sternritter flock and/or Uryu himself, and that made me think that Uryu really was important to Yhwach's plan.

Perhaps Uryu is sort of being used in the same way Orihime was in the Heuco Mundo Rescue sub-arc. A chess piece to ensnare Ichgo later.

Regardless, I think that Uryu is stuck playing his role, and no quincys trust him, and both Bach and Haschwalth tower over him in strength, making a chance for Uryu to strike down Bach slim.

However Uryu is very smart, brave, and strategically minded, he may be just playing the role of a prisoner playing the role of a soldier, setting a trap in a long con.
