Yay, now I can claim minority status!

Oh shit I'm a minority now! Time to make some mexicans feel bad for keeping me down!

The lazy river has never been lazier.

NOOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo

I thought this happened a while ago. Also, aren't a lot of Hispanics white?

Yeah, the are you Hispanic question is always separate from the white/black/Asian/etc categories on everything I've ever seen.

It always makes me feel conflicted, I don't feel white, but sometimes there's no other choice but to put white-hispanic.

Yeah, I think it feels weird because culture, ethnicity and race are closely related... except for "Hispanic", which is mostly a geographic (or geographic-cultural) thing. So, you're hispanic if you came from Latin America, but also if you have lived in a hispanic culture... it's weird for it to be a race.

According to the census all the arabs, persians, indians, etc are also white. So yes and no.

Time to claim free stuff, demand colleges accept whites with lower SAT and ACT scores, riot and loot whenever we don't like something, stop working and demand free money and other handouts, and race-bait constantly for free stuff... /s

On a more serious note, most Latinos/Hispanics are White or of mixed race such as mestizo (white and indigenous). Rather than Germans being the largest white ethnic group in the US, Spaniards are now the largest White ethnic group.

riot and loot whenever we don't like something

You guys already do that after sports games.

Except our damage is to the order of a few Million max VS a Few BILLION. so there is kind of a huge difference.

Except our damage is to the order of a few Million max VS a Few BILLION.

Millions of dollars in damage because your favorite team won or lost? Is that really what you want to compare?

Sure. Mostly becuase in one instance black people were also involved in the rioting(sports) while in the other instance the damage was caused almost completely by African american's

while in the other instance the damage was caused almost completely by African american's

Huntington Beach surf riot? Keene college pumpkin fest riot? Hockey riots?

A bunch of Mexicans took part in the LA riots also.

I am sorry, can you not accept that when african american's riot that it does way more damage for tax payers and communities?

Yea, Hispanic is a social ethnicity. You can be Asian Hispanic. Peru had an East Asian president named Alberto.

People fail to see the jobs lost by this type of immigration. Construction, landscaping, etc. were good paying jobs that non immigrants worked before non citizens under cut them on pay. Removing individuals without proper citizenship would open thousands if not millions of jobs for those on unemployment. Politicians will never do such a thing because they get votes by simply stating those that have no right to be here can stay. It's how they pad their numbers.

[–]Houston_Pipefitter 14ポイント15ポイント  (0子コメント)

As a pipefitter tradesmen working in a sea of brown, many H1B1 Columbians, many more are straight up illegal. You meet Juan on one job and his name is fucking Eddie on the next!

I just don't see, as a practical matter, how letting millions more into a country with a dearth of middle class jobs and wages is going to be a positive. It isn't 1890, the economy and government has changed.

The government and big business isn't worried about jobs. The leftists are slobbering over the millions of new votes that will keep them in power and the right/big business wants the slave labor.

More taxes, more consumers of basic goods. Also more easily manipulated people if they are prepackaged to be disenfranchised .

So it goes.

My co-worker literally told me she's too white to buss tables at the restaurant we work. Its a counter-service restaurant and we're all supposed to run food and clean the tables. Those on unemployment are lazy people, that is all there is to it. Another co-workers' lazy husband has been unemployed for over 2 years. My boss offered him a job but he declined because he's "not a people person". People stay jobless because they rather claim unemployment and not do anything rather than work and make only a few hundred dollars more. My dad has a construction business and in the 25 years I've witnessed how non-immigrants just don't care about a job because they can always find something better than an immigrant.

You blamed everyone but the companies who hire these people for less, bribe the politicans to turn a blind eye, and use damage control accounts such as yours to shift the blame.

Good job.

Correct. If a country wants to fight illegal immigration, the way to do it is at the employer level. Make employment of illegals punishable by a large fine and other measures (instantly qualifying for an IRS audit?) and enforce those measures. Essentially make it more expensive for businesses to use illegal alien labour.

I'm not american but my sense is that the US doesn't really want to combat illegal immigration, just appear to be doing so. It's a good source of cheap economic development and votes from the latino communities.

The US doesn't just want to not fight illegal immigration. It's encouraged at every level!

I live in Colorado, where there is a lot of agriculture. My father is a schoolteacher. Local agricorp borrow the schools busses every April and drives them down to Texas, where they pick up hundreds of illegal workers to come work the fields.

Then after the fall harvests, police come around and neatly pick up all the imigrants and have them transported back to Mexico. They take their paltry-by-american standards pay back with them and are back the next year.

Its rather like the British do with the Polish, but with one complicated problem. In most southwestern states of the United States, more than half of the 'native' population is of hispanic descent!

Whats really funny is that the locals who profit the most from it are the ones who are most vocally against it!

When said companies are owned/operated by non citizens and said politics is comprised of the off spring of non citizens it's collusion. Their are programs at the federal level, e-verify, to combat this. If collusion is taking place, as it has, then citizens have no way to fight for what is right. They are simply out voted by non citizens protecting their non resident status.

You sound like an apologist born from non citzens. What have you done to prove your worth and allegiance to this country? Have you served in peace keeping? Given time/money to charity? Or are you simply ignoring the facts?

Oh, just remembered. I agree, that guy from the Israel Financial Aid thread is def a JIDF poster.

I don't have to serve. I don't have to give money. I'M WHITE!

And as far as non-citzen collusion goes, we both know the locals are just as willing to slit each others(our) throats as other people are.

Oh, and good use of 'apologist', it's a great anti-liberal buzzword!

Yeah but they're only talking about the white Americans.. and not the droves of illegal whites coming down from the border of Canada..

oh man Donald Trump's hair just had a stroke

[–]Rihannas_forehead 8ポイント9ポイント  (3子コメント)

Who ever thought places with Spanish names like San Francisco, Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento etc. was populated by mostly Hispanic people. Weird.

I wonder which European country colonized California first? Definitely not Spain. /s

[–]Rihannas_forehead 3ポイント4ポイント  (1子コメント)

I know, I know. Bulgaria.

Then they aren't an ethnic group any longer.

Whites are.

More mexicans = more taco stands. How is that bad

I'm sure California will prosper from this. I mean, look at Mexico. It's a shining beacon for all the world to aspire.

You understand vast majority of Hispanics are American born right? All new immigrants to this country are going to destroy it, yeah I've read my history books.

Nativism on the rise, just like when the eastern Europeans came! And the irish, and the jews! Read a history book dickwad.

White people making jokes that they're the minority in their own state... How stupid can you possibly be?

How could you let Mexicans to take over your country? IM BROWN and saying this.(parents came legally)

Btw PC idiots: more Mexicans doesn't equal a melting pot, it's just more Mexicans. More Asians, French, Indians ect. Equal a melting pot

A message from your leader: http://youtu.be/WlIgCRAjAUY

Well, seems fitting since California used to be Mexico.

You're just a racist asshole.

No.

I accept that this is my country and if I wanted to live in Mexico I would move there

It's a little like if I were to move to South Korea and remark about how the country needs more white people.

What? That makes zero sense

IM BROWN and saying this.(parents came legally)

You're racist against your own race, how stupid.

What if he was indian?

If you have the chance read a book called Antonio's Gun and Deflino's Dream. It tells the story of several different immigrants and communities in Mexico and the US, and shows just how bad the situation actually is.

That has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. /u/thedissidents/ is being completely racist.

He's still right and the book shows that.

Some of us didn't cross the border, the border crossed us!

[–]commodity_for_all [スコア非表示]  (0子コメント)

Well... California was Mexico at one point.

The Mexican who shot and killed a white woman put them in the lead.

Ehh this doesn't come off as a surprise to me anyways. I see Hispanics everywhere in California.

Sweet, can't wait for all the minority benefits.

bunch of sad ass racists up in here

Seriously. If they actually got to know any of these people they'd realize that they're just as American as the next person. A lot of the younger generations don't even know Spanish, or they know very little.

It depends on how long the family has been here.

My 8th grade teacher came here illegally as a toddler and English was her main language. She was still fluent in Spanish but she had little to no accent. Just my anecdotal 2 cents.

My family's history on my dad's side goes back to Mexico. Great-grandfather was the one to come to California from Mexico in search of ranch work.

I'm 4th generation and I'm barely Mexican. My last exposure to anything related to Mexican culture was my grandparents. My grandfather really hated anyone who had the least bit of allegiance to Mexico or the Mexican flag. I have a distinct memory as a kid of him seeing a Mexican flag on a pickup truck and yelling, "If he likes Mexico so much he should go back!"

That spirit of assimilation is gone. Now its the opposite. I see people in this very thread talking up "well the southwest was theirs first". It is a little disconcerting.

[–]not_a_spoof_account 1ポイント2ポイント  (1子コメント)

This has been said about every single ethnic group in the history of America. Fucking Ben Franklin himself bitched about how the Germans didn't want to assimilate.

You're not connecting the dots. "Every generation worried about people in their country assimilating....but then they did".

Well no shit, there wasn't the emphasis on multiculturalism and diversity we have today from our institutions. Secondly, I think that bring right over the border changes the game.

Right? they act like its 1to1. But me and my friends have never chased down a bus full of white kids with picket signs that say GO BACK TO EUROPE

I thought this already happened.

And? What does this mean? Panic, mayhem in the streets?

nah... cheap tacos and some kick ass fajitas.

I got a census form but haven't replied yet. Why would they publish the results before getting all the information?

Who fucking cares?

Comments here remind me of this

I'm all for it, latin chicks are hot.
