Lately gender identity stuff has been popping up on my facebook. Recently, one about a third grader who is happy they transitioned to a boy. I'm like, uh... then I know I shouldn't but I click the comments hoping somehow faith in humanity will be restored. Nope. Anyone who dissents the back patting on this individual is somehow a horrible person.

I also saw on youtube something with kids talking about social issues. Kids. The adults in the room are clearly leading their discussion, too, so you can see this is only going to get worse as young children are being lead to believe certain things.

Society is fucking awful. Let kids be kids and don't start injecting politics into their lives at such early ages. Let them play and enjoy life, because at some point, they'll have to be actual adults and give that shit up. Why they're being forced into things at such an early age is beyond me, and frankly, child abuse.

Of course they are going to indoctrinate young kids into Social Justice, as it's nothing more than a vulgar cult. There are some stupid and messed up adults who are sucked into it, just like with certain religions, and they want to share their blessings with their kids. We can only hope that the kids are smart enough to be able to think on their own and abandon this cult the way many of us abandoned religion. Hell, I abandoned religion and then moderate SJWism.

Is it any surprise that they're forcing kids to be... "mature", by which SJWs mean forcing their agenda on others? Kids need to grow up and realize how glorious the Social Justice cult is.

As a liberal, I don't mind transsexuals. What does concern me is the new wave of degenerates transsexual activism has spawned, namely "non-binary" pretenders, and individuals who pretend that they are not either male or female, but some made up gender. Sadly, there are people in society who will do anything for attention - often the same people who have 20 facial piercings and rainbow-colored hair.

Yeah, indoctrination just like religion. I mean you could claim anything is indoctrination, even if you raise your kids to search out the truth using the scientific method in life, but this really is becoming a cult or at least a large scale cult thought process. Identity politics really gets on my nerves.

I don't actually agree with transgenderism. I get that it's an issue people feel but you really can't change your sex. I know they say gender =/= sex but really, that's where it came from. Girl was because you were born female, boy because born male. It was never given to you because society said so, which is what they're turning it into.

"This person was given girl gender assignment and now they're happy they're a boy!"

Wait? What? You were born with your equipment and that's why!

Now that the whole gay thing is practically over, I can already see this being pushed as the next oppressed group to rise up for civil rights.

They're really starting to make things so basic way more complicated than it needs to be. Now there is like, gender identity, sexual identity, and a ton of other shit. Being born male, identify as female, sexually identify as homosexual, and a bunch of other shit to go along with it these days. I mean argh. Seriously. Does it need to be THIS complicated? And why fill kid's heads with this shit? It's abusive and dangerous to cause confusion. A third grader hasn't sexually matured, hasn't had hormones pumping through their bodies yet giving them sexual characteristics and so on. What's going to happen when a girl who is being told it's ok to gender identify as a boy starts growing huge tits and hips and then goes on to hate themselves because of it? Throw on top of that a lot of the comments were like "well if after puberty hits they decide to be a girl they can do that!" Whaaat? So just flip flop this shit around because transgender doesn't necessarily mean you have to get surgery and shit, not that something like that would fix the problem anyway.

This is a serious problem that has been highly politicized.

I don't agree with calling Gender Dysphoria transgender either. I personally see a bigger issue, I think the whole transgender movement is confusing people without it. I have a few friends that have been diagnosed with it. It really needs more research into the causes as there is a few studies that allude to it being a genetic or neurological phenomenon.

But within the feminist crowd especially I have noticed the words there is nothing wrong with them, when someone states it is a medical condition. Which is actually harming those that have it. Some people say they are transgender because it is becoming something not only accepted, but seen as cool by some circles. Which is where the confusion is, because some people say they are transgender without having the brain patterns associated with the disorder. This harms actual people with Gender Dysphoria much the same way rape being stricken as a symptom of mental health disorders that have correlations with serial rapists. The serial rapists who commit a horrible crime, can not get help for the reasons of why they are the way they are. Putting them in prison that doesn't really help the individual get better, it just puts him in a place where the taxpayer has to pay for him to live, but not get the mental health treatment he needs. I say he as the FBI to my knowledge does not acknowledge that women can be serial rapists, even though they can be. The same with Gender Dysphoria, eventually the activists will make it so it isn't seen as a medical problem, which makes the insurance companies not cover it. Which would cause even more problems as people cannot get the help they need.

Some are content with taking hormones that make them look like the gender their brains or even genes may or may not tell them they are.

I could go full tin foil and say transgender is being pushed, because it pushes down people that live the poly life style and are felons because their beliefs are love and marriage shouldn't be constrained to just two people. But that's tinfoil hat level stuff.

Well I think certain things that seem complicated can be explained in a way that makes sense. I think gender vs sex vs sexuality is not that hard to distinguish from each other. Sex is biological, gender is psychological, and sexuality is who you're attracted to relative to what sex you are. Don't let the special snowflakes distract you from what is a real situation.

I think the reason why kids get to know more about these things these days is that it is becoming more and more a part of how we look at our identities. I am not a psychologist, (I know, here's the obligatory 'but') but maybe psychologists are capable of determining the difference between a kid who TRULY feels that way and someone who is just interested. And I'm willing to give kids more credit then some might think.

The most important thing anyone can teach their child is doubt everything. Once you're in a certain group it's difficult to remove yourself from it. Children need to learn to be doing their own research and form their own opinions, unfortunately people would rather just indoctrinate them and then keep them in the cult. Which is probably bad in the long run because it gets you so stuck in that group it's difficult and traumatic to leave if you want to.

sticking in the circlejerk does nothing to expand your point of view. Teach people to explore!

Hm, isn't third grade a bit young? Especially to discuss sex and gender with them?

If they see some gay guys holding hands this is not a reason to scream and cover their poor innocent eyes. By the same token trying to cram all of this nonsense into them so early is overkill. If some child grows up transgender let him or her grow at their own pace.

Cheesus Crust. Everything needs to be a political talking point nowadays.
