Black people are violent brutes whose societal problems are self - inflicted.

And apparently links to wacky uber-conservative websites "proves" that white guilt is worse than the mythical white privilege. Oh, and minority leaders just want free stuff from the government, not any responsibility from their own communities.

I kept telling myself "Okay, this is the last comment I'm going to make in here. Don't want to give myself an aneurism or get so pissed that I say something really uncharitable that I end up regretting." But the ignorance kept getting worse and I couldn't stop. Eventually I forced myself to believe that they weren't serious because that was the only way I could retain my sanity. The comment about rap music made it relatively easy to believe that it's all just a joke.

Yeah, suspending several industrial mining dump tucks of disbelief, assuming that would happen, the name for the military action of an extremely powerful majority "in" group against an extremely impoverished/powerless "out" group isn't "war." That's called genocide. It's not generally viewed favorably in Christian circles.

Is there any way to deflair them? They pretty much admitted they weren't part of the SA and yet people might associate their vile rhetoric with my denomination because they wanted that flair. That seems pretty fucked up.

The mods have that power, but I've only seen them use it once. An incredibly anti-gay user was using the LGBT cross flair with custom text that said something like "LGBT = Let God Be True" and then some passive-aggressive verse citation.
