It's not like the idea of Jesse Jackson using race as a weapon is something unheard of. The guy specifically stands up against what he sees as injustice regarding only people that share his race.

That's gonna be commented on, ya know?

Ok?

I fail to see how "you're an immoral race baiter" comes into play here.

Right, so black isn't a race. I won't attempt to skirt the facts; racism is such a superficial, fearful reactionary issue that skincolor somehow determines what 'side your on.'

That aside, MLK jr was no saint. For that matter, the actual Martin Luther was no saint. They were flawed humans who all stood to benefit off of controversy. Those who support the status quo would love for all of their enemies to stand in a field and martyr themselves. The issue there is hopefully obvious.

Is Jessie Jackson greedy? Sure, are you not? I don't agree with everything he does. I probably wouldn't enjoy his company, and he probably wouldn't have mine. After all, he has certainly done and risked more to further racial equality in the US than either of us, or the average redditor. But none of this has anything to do with whether or not Jessie Jackson's AMA was dogpiled by persons with an obvious agenda, both in questions and in votes.
