In 2010, I won the Reddit pumpkin carving contest with my Doc Brown pumpkin from my now deleted account /u/ooolalalauren
I was supposed to win a t-shirt. The mods of the contest assured that I would get it. I never did. They told me that /u/alienth was the admin in charge of getting that to me. I contacted him. Never got a response.
So, I don't care about Victoria or any of this. I'm just butthurt that I didn't get my shirt. That's the real issue here.

Why did it deserve to be banned over some more vocal subreddits. /r/coontown is the easiest one I can point to, but so many more that actually harass and Doxx people. So Wtf why was FPH singled out? That is what the censorship is about, singling out ideas they don't like and silencing them.

I was about 10 pounds overweight and FPH helped me get that omph to get back into a healthier BMI. It was Fat People Hate NOT, fat people come look at us hate you. It was bullcrap censorship based on nothing but fee fee.

They didn't care why someone was fat, just that they were. They regularly jeered at fat people who were in the gym, out hiking or biking. They would take photos that people posted in other subs (without asking) and post them in FPH just to make fun of them. One of those photos was mine.
Some of the drugs I took whilst fighting cancer gave me weird body odour plus I very quickly gained almost 50lbs. I worked SO FUCKING HARD to take that weight off when I was finally finished my treatment. And I was successful. It was really upsetting though to read the cruel comments people made about my photo. When I tried to defend myself and explain what was going on I was immediately banned.
I was so embarrassed and ashamed that I deleted that account so people could not see what I looked like. What a terrible way to treat a stranger.

First, I personally don't think that a subreddit should be banned for being offensive, but I think it's completely legitimate for the admins to exercise their power to ban it.
Second, I agree with you that it is generally unhealthy to be overweight. But you should hate the fat itself, not the fat person. There's more to people of any weight than just their weight. I've met considerable numbers of skinny dickwads and nice fat people, as well as some fat dickwads and nice skinny people. If you wan't to encourage fat people to live more healthily, then, I dunno, give them diet and exercise tips or something; don't hate them.

Of course there is more than just the fat to a person, they are a fat person who makes life for themselves and people around them worse. Let's go for a run, I can't, let's go for a hike, it's so hot outside. Then a lot get a obesity related disease then die leaving all their loved ones very prematurely.
Number one cause of childhood obesity is obese parents period. Obesity is a scourge dude, there is zero up side, people just want to justify their shit. Giving health advice to fat people is met with hisses.
Gluttony and global warming is what the 2000's will have as major issues in history books. Obesity, literally just eating too much is the health epidemic of my generation.
