notice the number of comments on this thread don't equal the number of comments you can see. Those are users who have been shaddowbanned, no doubt thank's to StabAntonio's trick of banning users from subs they have never been to.

The mods of /r/SanAntonio might want to have a conversation with StabAntonio about this since many of those subs appear in the side bar.

Here is how the trick works.

Lets say StabAntonio starts trolling you by picking some innocuous discussion you had with somebody and cross posting it to their drama sub along with archives, and tagging your name to try and get you to react.

You might choose to create a different user name when interacting with StabAntonio in order to protect your real user name from the drama.

StabAntonio will then ban your new user name from ever sub they mod (as you can see, its a long list, and some of them are on the /r/SanAntonio sidebar).

Now, when your new user name is banned from a sub it has never posted or commented in, it won't get a message informing you of the ban. You have no idea you have been banned. So when you now go and comment on.. say.. /r/sanantoniofood with your other account, you will get shadowbanned for "using alts to avoid a ban".

You can get the admins to help, but right now my guess is they are a bit busy.

/u/excoriator, I don't think you should allow any subs moded by SabAntonio in the side bar as long as that user is blanket banning users like that, and continuing with the constant trolling and harassment.

I know StabAntonio thinks that they are "trolling the trolls" but that simply is not the case.

Take a look at /u/glasnostic. That was my user name until StabAntonio decided to target me to the point of creating a user name with my flickr account name. Take a look at the karma on that user name.

My run in with StabAntonio forced me to delete every comment or post I ever made with that account and basically leave it as a place holder. Stab created /r/glasnostic and who even knows what goes on over there.

my /u/glasnostic account as well as this user name and one other were all shaddowbanned thanks to stabantonio's trick of banning people they don't like from the various San Antonio subs they mod before they ever attempt to use those subs. It took some time but the Admins eventually listened to my arguments and released my accounts.

Pay attention to OP everybody. StabAntonio is not somebody you want to have any interactions with. StabAntonio will take your name in posts that attempt to "call you out". Do not engage. They are trolling you, trying to drag you into a fight. You will find yourself banned from every sub that person mods (/r/sanentonio /r/bikesa, /r/sanantoniofood and so on and so forth, and if you use more than one user name you will wind up shaddowbanned)

OP, if you were shadowbanned for using a sub you didn't know you were banned from, the Admins will listen.

Contact me privately and I'll let you know how to get unbanned.

EDIT: to clarify my user name, I created it as soon as i noticed StabAntonio had created a user name using my flickr account name. Since the Admins on reddit don't seem to give a shit about something so blatantly wrong, I decided to snatch up user names and subs as fast as I could.

Have a look at how many subs StabAntonio owns (remember, you won't be able to see the private ones like /u/glasnostic). It's a virtual land grab. Sorry to anybody in San Antonio who thought they might want to create a community based on their interests.

EDIT2: OP and I are not the same. /u/SanEntonio is one of my usernames though, and it was shadowbanned thanks to StabAntonio. Not permanently though.

I think that just as there is a limit to how many default subs one person can mod, there should also be a limit to how many subs relating to a city one person can mod.

Reddit attracts all kinds; that's exactly why I'm here. I love learning about people and watching human interaction. Reddit's digital form gives me effortless access to real human perspective from around the world and from all age groups. I love reddit for its unfiltered content.

I've only been here for a couple years (with and without an account) but I saw early on how getting involved in an online slapfight wasn't beneficial to anyone. My opinion is one of, what, millions here? I can't convince myself that my opinion is more valid than another user's opinion. If I disagree with someone, that's fine. If someone disagrees with me, hey, also fine. Dissent is okay. The presence of contrasting ideas allow us to weigh the merits of each and decide which best fits our own experiences. Without contrasting opinions, we cannot advance as a civilization. Learning from others is a good thing.

The karma attached to this online identity does not affect my real life identity and I feel no need to defend my comments or attack others' comments (whether they're opinion-based or fact-based) . My behavior through this online identity, however, affects my real life karma so I try to treat everyone here with respect.

Holy crap, You made another StabAntonio hate thread? That's amazing.

It's real simple: if you make a ton of alt accounts to start following me around and post insulting comments on every post I make, like Vee_Vee and /u/glasnostic have done, I will ban you from being able to do that in subs I moderate. That shouldn't be a surprise since any moderator would do that. If you make new accounts to avoid the ban and keep trying to follow me around in subs I moderate to throw random insults at me, the admins will shadowban you.

This isn't new for Reddit and both /u/glasnostic has had a lot of his stalking accounts shadowbanned repeatedly for it. He knows what he is doing is breaking reddit's ruled, but he thinks he won't get caught. I haven't done anything wrong.

If you don't harass people and break reddit's rules: you won't get shadowbanned. It's not a hard concept and you're not a victim.
