Popcorn tastes good.

Edit: Honestly, I didn't understand the depth of the frustration, and I really regret this comment. I'm leaving it here as a reminder not to do it again.

Professional as always.

Im amazed how fucking smug he can be while the customers OF HIS FUCKING JOB are raising important concerns.

Edit: if I replied to people like this in any job I have ever had I would be fired. Some how he has a job and the one reddit member I have any respect for is let go. When the fuck did reddit become the nipple rubbing comcast guy from South Park?

Edit 2: I understand that we're not really the "customers" of reddit. I was being idealistic rather than getting into the specifics of social media monetization.

Don't think those are his customers. Reddit's customers are marketers.

[–]KaliYugazRevere the Admins, expel the barbarians! 410

Yes, and they too would be pretty upset to see IAMA shut down.

There's no conspiracy, only stupidity.

Right. Technically he's not talking shit about his customers so much as his own product. Neither option is good for business.

Yes, and they too would be pretty upset to see IAMA shut down.

If IAMA really tried to shut down, it would be quickly put under new management. IIRC, it happened once before.

I predict we will soon be treated to such gems as: I am Kevin Kissass, head marketing specialist for Crystal Pepsi. Ask me anything about Crystal Pepsi!

IIRC, it happened once before.

IIRC it was one mod vs. the users so the admins stepped in.

Now it's the admins vs. the users. If they step in the only ones who are going to lose is the users.

Reddit: The product is getting uppity!

Well. I unfortunately have reddit gold, so I am a costumer.

Well. I unfortunately have reddit gold, so I am a costumer.

You certainly are in costume.

Yes. It looks like shit polished into a golden shine.

Its a two sided coin business. We are reddits customers and marketers are reddits customers too. If either one stops, the site will stop making money and go down. Without users, who would the marketers market too...

And if we are reddit's product, thats even more important to reddit to keep the product lol. Imagine if you are selling a product and then all of the inventory suddenly disappeared and you weren't able to get anymore. You go bankrupt and collapse. Same will happen to reddit.

People need to stop spreading the we are the "product" social media quote bs logic.

If you buy reddit gold you would be a customer or have your adblocker turned off.

Even with the adblocker turned off, we are the product. The advertisers are the customers. When you see an ad, it's reddit providing a service to a customer. The only time you are a customer is buying gold.

Power does a number to people's ability to make sound decisions.

Im amazed how fucking smug he can be while the customers OF HIS FUCKING JOB are raising important concerns.

You aren't the customer, you are the content they sell.

We're the product. A finite product that he can lose. Adblock is on and I'll be back on voat as soon as it recovers.

You're not a customer. You're just eyeballs.

Your angry eyeballs are worth just as much to reddit's actual customers as your happy eyeballs.

And I came here looking to have an authentic conversation with an admin!

Appreciate and remember this. This is how you tell someone that they don't matter at all. He owns you and everyone here. He knows that even if every self-respectable person left reddit for good, there's literally millions of idiots who will stick around to create money for the site.

Victoria was probably "harrassing" someone. Reddit takes "harrassment" seriously.

It sounds like she was harassing Reddit's management's bad ideas.

As we all are, hence the solidarity.

I am always impressed by the Reddit admins mods. It's almost as if they never quite know what they're doing.

edited: because /u/Itssosnowy is really upset about a mixed up word.

That mixed up word is really, really important though. There's a world of difference between mods and admins on this site. It would be like if you said "I like to drink tequila" and then were like, "Oh wait, I meant I like to drink milk". Tequila =/= milk. Admins =/= mods

Sincerely, a moderator (not an administrator)

He's an admin for fucks sake.

A founder, if I recall correctly.

Correct, he and Steve Huffman founded reddit for the first ycombinator incubator.

[–]Japroo 7

What is an incubator here?

[–]Elmepo 5

An incubator is business speak for a short school/conference thingy. Take for example, ycombinator.

Essentially those who are lucky enough to qualify attend a whole bunch of talks and lessons by very knowledgeable and experienced people who are typically well known in their field.

But that's just a standard conference, generally speaking incubators often involve things like mentorships, and potential investments. The basic idea is to get people who have a great idea, and the skills to potentially make it a reality and a profitable business, and in a short time, give them major advantages in terms of knowhow and networking opportunities.

Congrats on making yourself and the Admins look even more ridiculous and unprofessional than your consumer base already thinks you are, we are embarrassed for you. Enjoy your popcorn.

What is reddit without committed, volunteer mods? They are the ship you are sailing on, I wouldn't piss on the deck.

The very first core value of reddit:
Be authentic, passionate, and empathetic.

You are none of these things.

And a few lines down:

"Default to transparency, and when you can’t be transparent, be honest."

I don't see that happening...

so how's monetizing the site going? Oh, you can't even keep the lights on at the defaults? Well uh... hang in there, I'm sure it's them, not you.

Are you fucking serious? Unbelievable. You can take my 6-year trophy and shove it up your ass.

I've been on your site for years, and I just only realized now that your business model is to reduce costs by handing out the perception of power in return for free labor - drastically decreasing overhead in the process, while holding you unaccountable (until you're dumb enough to speak, like a smug twat).

You took a democratic platform and monetized it, and now make a mockery of it because you can't see anyone from your green tower. You took something that was kind of neat - an expression of what the internet was supposed to be - and you've tainted it. For a group of people that have so much influence over the discourse of the developed world, that's a real shame that you've let things devolve to this, rather than building something better and going to the next iteration, whatever that would have been.

e: hey asshole - my account wont be active anymore. its a dumb content management system that you set up, and easily replicable. you let it get to your head.

get fucked - i actually go out to the bush to spread the internet, you're just a cunt that got lucky thinking your meow cats matter or whatever the fuck. the culmination of your life is actually nothing.

dam I never noticed until you said it....

unpaid labor in return for perceived power/influence on the site.. now I kind of hate myself for supporting such a scheme.

I think there is a certain irony in it though. For all the power that they let moderators have for their free labor, it's now the very power that moderators are wielding to force reddit admins to do something. For all the times that reddit admins wanted to be hands off, not do anything about the moderator abuses that occur, especially in the default subreddits, they essentially kept telling users to "Go make their own subreddit if they don't like it", no matter how shitty the mods were being.

So now guess what reddit admins, go make your own IamA, go make your own AskReddit. Or you can listen to the moderators and get the shit straightened out.

Come on man, you're the face of the company and that's all you've got? A little professionalism would be nice here.

Like, seriously, we're not talking about some random forum here. You're (at least somewhat) at the helm of one of the internet's major communities, and a company that must be worth at least in the mid hundreds of millions.

You just fired the employee that runs one of the major drawcards of reddit, the place that had the goddamn US president as a guest. And now have allowed it to be set to private, as well as leaving AMA guests hanging with seemingly little communication.

Is it really too much to as for you to not make jokes at the expense of the userbase that gives your company value, and to deliver a professional statement about what exactly is going on, why it's going on, and how it will be fixed?

That's typically what would be expected of someone of your stature.

This response is mind boggling. It's as if he honestly doesn't give a shit and thinks his little internet space is immune from push back. Not to mention the gutless decision to fire Victoria right before a holiday weekend. Wannabe corporate shills

This comment is probably the one that will get me to never come back here.

Enjoy being Digg #2, I guess.

hey an actual human being lost their job but hilarious joke dude!

Instead of being sarcastic and a complete idiot.. how about being a decent person and 1. Hire someone that is just as good as Victoria (doubtful) 2. Rehire Victoria or 3. At least make an announcement on what is planned so the mods across everywhere know what to do.

AND btw you wouldn't have to spend tons and tons of money on anti-brigade shit, if you just would be honest and make an announcement with the honest truth on why you are doing stuff, and what people should prepare for.

Also good luck becoming the next Digg. Heard there site went really well after they started censoring and firing good people xD

How the fuck did they not fire him instead of Victoria?

Popcorn tastes good.

Exactly. I've written some pretty fucking bad comments over my six years, but I either delete them quickly or apologize when called out on them. I miss the old reddit, where is Stephen Colbert when you need him?

Are you fucking serious? The front page of Reddit is full of posts criticizing the admins and all you can say is that you like popcorn? Way to run a company. Good luck with that whole monetization thing.

Geez, I cannot believe you're an admin. What a childish immature response.

That's the founder.

This probably isn't true but I like to think that he opposed Victoria's firing and expressed that it would massively displease the community but was overruled. In that case the popcorn comment is about sitting back and watching things turn to shit as predicted. Would you fight to fix an issue caused by a foolish decision that you opposed?

Wishful thinking though I presume.

Smug as fuck. What a shitty response for a day like today.

Disregarding the community response to this, I'm appalled at this because this is your view on a situation where you fired someone.

Dude half the traffic this site receives goes to the subs that are now dark.

You're losing revenue.

All the transparency...

You just completely disrespected people literally working for your company for free providing your company with content, the people that made reddit what it is more than you ever did. You really are disgusting.

By replying like that you are only making the situation worse for yourself and Reddit.

god you guys are terrible at relations with your userbase.

edit: actually, i am going to expand on this. This is reddit's major problem with monetization. you can't be taken seriously when you have CEOs calling out people and you have employees talking down to reddit's userbase. Part of being a legitimate company is picking your battles or you end up like Amy's Baking Company, a joke.

Well, they sort have just fired their Communications Director, therefore communications, could seem... I don't know, poor, in distaste, or possibly even pathetic.

Haha! Thinking you would get a round of applause here. Get the fuck out.

Seriously. This kind of shit is fucking ridiculous, especially to the people who've literally put their heart into Reddit.

[–]Halk 97

Will this mean that there will be more paid/promoted content on reddit?

Is this part of the plan to monetise things more, so you can buy more popcorn?

This is a fundamental and crass disregard for the user base. Maybe you think that you're making light of the situation, or maybe you think we're just a bunch of rambunctious teenagers, but your paycheck relies on us. We're the resource that you use to sell ad space, the customers who buy Gold. And you're what...snickering at us?

You're in for a surprise: people don't need Reddit. I was behind the FPH business...but pulling the rug out by firing Victoria? I get that that probably wasn't your decision, but as a representative of your company it's highly inappropriate to make light of that. In any way.

Edit: I might add, Mr. /u/kn0thing, that if Reddit is moving in the direction of an impersonal staffer base, this nebulous and nameless "AMA staff", you'd better update your resume. You're as much of a known entity as Victoria was. If I were turning Reddit into a corporate enterprise, I wouldn't just make one part of that corporation into a faceless entity, they're probably structuring their Shitstorm Team to replace you as we speak.

How caring of your userbase. You do realise that you'll be feeding on air if you don't have users, yes?

Reminder: AdBlock on, block whitelisted ads too.

Are you drunk? A majority of users and volunteers for a site that you work for are upset, and you're making stupid jokes? Learn some decorum. At least tell people why she was fired with absolutely no warning. Grow some balls and learn some basic human decency before your site dies and you join the legions of homeless on the streets of San Fransico. I don't want to see this site die. I enjoy it usually. However, you sir, need to think before you type.

What a blatant display of arrogance... How could you act that way to this community? What do you think we see in you now?

You're a business representative, not a fucking teenager. Act like it.

You know that this is a business you're running, right?

"Remember the human. When you communicate online, all you see is a computer screen. When talking to someone you might want to ask yourself 'would I say it to the person's face?' Or 'would I get jumped if I said this to a buddy?'

Adhere to the same standard of behavior online that you follow in real life."

If I saw you acting like this in real life I would say you are being a real asshole.

This is downright terrible. You are the reddit co-founder and all you have to say is this? Just look how unprofessional this whole thing is with no explanation. I'll just let the people who were in the middle of an AMA do all the talking here

Beginnings of the ends:

FARK: "You'll get over it."

Digg: "09 F9 11 02 9D 74 E3 5B D8 41 56 C5 63 56 88 C0"

Reddit: "Popcorn tastes good."

It would be funnier if there wasn't a woman out of a job and your site wasn't facing a massive user migration.

Is everyone that works at Reddit supposed to make asinine comments whenever something like this happens to its users or is it just so poorly structured and managed that it's allowed? Pretty embarrassing...

No where else would this be acceptable. Could you act for just one god damn second like you give a give a shit about this major website you somehow have power in?

alexis and ellen deserve each other.

Honestly, I came here to rail about the lack of professionalism this comment and others you have made in light of these events.

...but it's not even worth it. Your responses show a lack of social development mixed with sour grapes that will continue to impact how Reddit's user base responds to these events.

I hope when the dust settles, your responses and general attitude toward users are examined closely. You deserve that much.

Edit: Honestly, I didn't understand the depth of the frustration, and I really regret this comment.

So laughing at the concerns of the user base is cool until it looks like it could hurt the business? 10-4 good buddy, hear you lound and clear.

I'm leaving it here as a reminder not to do it again.

What is it that you don't want to do again? Have so little interaction with the content side of your website that you laugh off a volunteer revolt? Or just not voice your scorn for the users publicly?

And you just keep digging your grave deeper. It's like you're totally oblivious. You know what, kn0thing? I'm not viewing content from your actual customers anymore. Reddit was one of the sites I had AdBlock turned off on so that I could send you guys a little revenue, even if I couldn't afford gold, but after this?

I'm done.

Ads begone!

And I encourage anyone else out there who sees this to do the same.

No more Reddit Gold, and no more ad revenue. Starve them, and still enjoy the community Reddit has to offer.

"Die as a hero, or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

Reddit was one of the sites I had AdBlock turned off on so that I could send you guys a little revenue

huh. forgot about that. my whitelist just got one slot shorter

Is it sort of starting to click for you that not a single response to this has been positive? Can you put aside some time to have a good think, really struggle to turn those mental gears, and try your best to fathom the implications of these comments?

I hope you've decided to end your relationship with reddit and decided this is how it's going to go down, because the alternative is that you legitimately believed anything else could come about as a result of your actions.

You deserve to work at reddit where it's not allowed to negotiate contracts. You're unfit to. Seriously, you're a fucking idiot big time. Who is buying this loser gold?

I'm glad you seem so smitten with yourself, it's a shame you can't take the upper road and not be a dickbag.

I come to your site for EVERYTHING!! Dog training advice, support with health issues, to laugh... It is~ no. Fuck that. WAS the first place I turn to when I was t to get involved with anything (there is always a sub)

FUCK you. Don't treat people with genuine concerns like children throwing a tantrum.

Honestly, I didn't understand the depth of the frustration

Exactly. You're so out of touch with your own site it is literally laughable.

Alexis you've become slimy as hell. I can't believe half the things I'm reading that you've said. Holy shit man, you need a fucking intervention.

No you're leaving the comment there because it will look even worse if you delete it you degenerate scumbag. People have already screenshotted your comment and would love to use it against you. Nice job upholding the central tenets of reddit.

Top kek, you have to had typed that response with a giant shit eating grin, congrats on looking like a prick bruh

Have you paused to consider - that no matter the reason - that it might be scary as hell for this woman to lose her job and that your classless comments are just so much salt in that wound?

Hopefully when something horrible happens to you the people you expected to be your support mechanism and community will forgive you your horrific attitude and still be there.

You certainly don't seem to understand much about life, or people.

really man?

you just keep digging a hole

edit: why would you PM me if its intentional, of course its fucking intentional(not at the admin)

what the hell was going through your head when you made this comment?

more subs are going private in protest by the hour due to a string of horrible decisions, and you respond in complete, childish, apathy?

i see what your job, the community, and the entire idea of reddit mean to you.

[–]AnalogDanThis Should Be Dickbutt Flair 28

I just want to be able to say that I commented on this historic blunder.

Carry on.

You realize you're supposed to be "the adult" in this situation, right?

Could you be any more of a jerk while Redditors are very clearly showing you that they disapprove of the actions Reddit leadership is taking at the moment?

Hi /u/kn0thing

I wanted to reach out to the admins with my story and figured this would be the best place to do this given my goal. On the off chance that this is something the admins still don't understand, I'd like to explain why I'm posting comments like this one (currently the top comment in the stickied thread on /r/videos).

Before I get into my side of things, I'd like to say that I empathize with your situation here. I've been making indie-games for about six years now and my games have been downloaded over 20 million times. As someone who has to deal with App Store reviews and support emails I know where you are coming from.

  • "Bad game!!! I hope the dev dies in a fire for wasting my time. I downloaded this when it was free and I paid too much. The game is way too EASY.

  • "What a piece of crap game. Way too HARD. Playing this game makes me wish I were working in the twin towers back in 2001. Here are a list of things the developer needs to change to justify their continued existence on this planet.

I quickly learned that it is impossible to please everyone, those that are displeased are often VERY displeased, and those that are vocal about it aren't always a joy to interact with. Believe me when I say that I've responded to support emails in ways that were far worse than your comments here. I don't have a boss. I don't have a VC telling me what to do. If I want to respond to vitriol with a simple, "Fuck off," I can. But I don't.

Because I eventually learned that this was the wrong approach. Not because of the potential impact it could have on revenue. Not because of my precious ego. But because every one of these people is the main character in their own story. And almost all of them can be transformed, with the right approach, into an advocate in the same amount of time it takes to be snarky or rude. Someone willing to fight beside you in your battles. Someone willing to support you when things get tough. Someone with a unique perspective that challenges your own cognitive biases. Yes, some of them just want to watch the world burn, but they are few and far between.

If you respond to your customers, in an authentic and honest way, if own your mistakes and treat your users as allies and not that thing standing between you and a payday, your whole world is going to change. At the present moment nothing that has been communicated to the community by the admins comes off as genuine. We need an authentic and honest announcement. Not a white washed non-answer signed off by venture capitalists.

It's not important that you please all of your users and it's not important that you try. It's not important that you agree with all of your users. It's not important that your values and goals align with the values and goals of every one of your users. What IS important is that you approach this community authentically. Writing an announcement intended to placate the offended will not work. Vague, disingenuous, politically correct apologies written for the masses don't work. If creating a safe space is your number one priority, don't shy away from that and pretend you guys are against censorship. If you guys are trying to appeal to advertisers, don't pretend you're not. It's your website, it's your choice. But when you treat your community the way that you have, this is exactly the response you should expect. And even if this dies down, even if this goes away, it's only a matter of time before things are going to blow up in your face again. That will continue until you communicate how you truly feel about this situation, whatever that may be.

This problem has very little to do with firing employees or censoring speech. I don't like these things but I support your right to do both. Your real problem, and the reason why so many different groups have come together on this one, is that you don't care about your users. You don't care about the hardworking moderators that volunteer to help make reddit great. All of these people, with all of their conflicting values, share this one belief. The belief that you don't give a shit about them. The belief that they are nothing more than dollar signs. If this is true, there's not a whole lot you can do about it. If it's not true, fixing this problem is incredibly easy.

I'd like to end this post by explaining why I feel this way. Maybe you shadowban me for it. Maybe you right a wrong. Maybe you continue to ignore me. It's entirely your right and your choice.

I've been a redditor for over 5 years. My last account was /u/geareddev. For five years, I made what I felt was a positive contribution to this site.. Several months ago, I was unjustly shadowbanned. When I reached out to the admins, I was told that I was shadowbanned because one of my threads "looked like" it was being voted up by bots. LOOKED LIKE. Was it? I don't know. I don't know if the admins know. But I do know this. I have NEVER used a vote bot on reddit. I have NEVER hired or paid someone to vote up my thread. And I would have had ZERO motivation to do so with content that was doing very well all on its own. What pissed me off the most about that situation was that the admins simply stopped responding to me. After contributing to this site for five years, I was just tossed aside. Thrown in the garbage. Zero evidence. No appeals process. Nothing to do but sit in bewilderment and consider how little the admins must care about their users. Self promotion is a really tricky thing but I believe I did it right. Hell, when I had even the slightest bit of doubt, I always PMed the moderators before posting my stuff. When I was banned, I had almost two years left of reddit gold on my account. Worse than that, when I was banned, I WAS RUNNING A PAID REDDIT ADVERTISEMENT!

That was the moment I stopped loving reddit. That was the moment I sat back for the first time and thought, "Wow. They really don't give a fuck."

So that's why I'm pissed off. That's why I'm watching the live feed. That's why I'm taking screenshots of threads I know are going to get removed. That's why I'm sitting here hoping reddit burns to the ground. That's why I'm not your ally any more.

It's very simple. I feel used. I feel betrayed. Logical or not, rational or irrational, there are a whole bunch of users on this site that feel the same way. You are free to make whatever choices you want with your company and I'll defend your right to do so, but man, I really hope things change.

I don't know. Tastes pretty darn burnt to me.

[–]JonAceWhy is this popcorn yellow? 15

Stop pissing in th- oh...

Bullshit. You're just as bad as the rest.

No one should ever let you walk this back. You made a terrible business decision and then mocked your customers when they pointed out how it would negatively affect them. You're the poster child for corporate tone deafness and arrogance.

Commenting for history

You cancel an employees job who has done so much for your business, then talk about popcorn as if its a joke? Get your priorities straight.

[–]lemonfreedomNick Beard and the Friendzone Friends

Did you really think you could just break the site and no one would notice?

That's nice, plenty of long time redditors are leaving. Have fun working with Ellen.

Very disappointed to see you say this.

How have you lost touch with the very thing that you created?

This is disgusting. You came to my university two years ago promoting your book and speaking out against SOPA/PIPA. The auditorium filled hours ahead of time to hear what the cofounder of this incredible community had to say. My friends and I were ecstatic.

Look at you now. I'm embarrassed to have looked up to you.

Love it. Keep it flowing. You've been doing a spectacular job recently and I honestly don't want you to stop.

Six kernels and a digg v4!

I'm pretty disappointed in your response. I'm not going to be mean or hurtful but your response was fairly juvenile.

This isn't some small issue that going to go away it's a big problem and by joking about it you show how little you give a shit about mods.

reddit deserves the digg treatment

What the fuck is happening to you? You're turning to John Romero a la Masters of Doom.

Fuck it, I'm gone. If this Victoria shit doesn't get straightened out ASAP I'm blacklisting this site and never coming back. Reddit is pretty cool but I've lived without it before and I can do it again.

I guess you're probably up for a raise after this debacle.

I hope it tastes as good as looking for a job when "Made sure no one's feelings were hurt on Reddit" was the last thing on your resume.

I think he's given up. He knows that him and/or reddit is going down.

I hope it's him. Him and Pao. reddit can change.

Well I'd call you a dick for your shortsightedness alone

6 or so years ago, when you guys first started to raise money by selling t-shirts, i was really happy when i got a friendly letter inside the package signed by you.

I've stayed on this website from the time that comments were first added until right now.

I hope you get paraded through the news as an unprofessional child that got lucky, because that's all that you've shown to the world.

Have fun watching yourself burn your creation to the ground. Maybe I'll read about it one day somewhere else.

i just, lol, this is fucking hilarious that you're probably saying this because, hey, this subreddit is about popcorn and drama! "I'm one of you guys! Lol! Popcorn, rite? Am I rite?" but now that everyone is obsessing over your post history they are going to not catch on to any of this and instead think that you are being a gigantic prick and that just makes me lol. Nobody will probably see this post either, ever, but still. i want to post.

It takes a special kind of density to come up with a comment like that.

The only rationale I can think of behind it would be "The faster my users leave, the faster they come back! So I better make them fuck off asap" which worked fantastically for Yahoo as a search engine, MySpace and Bebo as social networks, AOL as an internet provider, and Digg..."

I am literally gobsmacked by your arrogance in the face of your company having it's biggest consumer revolt to date.

Seeing you act this way initially influenced me to quit reddit altogether. But you know what? That would be too good for you. Instead, I'm going to install AdBlocker and any other blocking software so reddit won't earn a single dime off of my internet presence. But I'll still be here, using your website, taxing your servers, and costing you money. Thanks for nothing /u/kn0thing, I'll be just as helpful to your bottom line as you have been to the user base, that is to say, a fucking leach.

You fucking tasteless millionaire piece of shit. Someone lost their job and you think it's funny. I can't believe anyone ever bought into your tired ass "Aw shucks, I just wanna change the world for the better" bullshit. I guess the advertisers are still happy.

HAHAHAHAHA REDDIT ADMINS IN A NUTSHELL, Pao's term sure has been peacefull

And this is where I have to reconsider any respect I had for you.

I mean, it's one thing to think that in this context, but to say it, with everything that's going on? Seriously?
I'm like the least 'keep up the professional PR bullshit' guy, and I wouldn't have said that.

Let us know if it tastes good with the crow you and the other admins will have to eat in the next few days.

Classic child response, have nothing of actual use to say so you just try to ruffle feathers. Dont worry im sure Reddit will keep you employed for life and never fire you. Then again, you're easily replaced.

fuck off you unprofessional dick

Honestly, I didn't understand the depth of the frustration, and I really regret this comment. I'm leaving it here as a reminder not to do it again.

Oh shit, I thought all this was going to blow over in a few hours and now it has media coverage. I'm leaving this comment here because it is plastered all over imgur and a few tech-news sites; I know deleting it won't work. I'm going to say that I'm leaving this comment willingly to seem more humble.

I didn't understand the depth of the frustration

You guys fire the only reddit admin/staff member we actually really give a shit about and the only one who actually brought funds/promotion directly to reddit and you didn't understand? Jesus christ, you are not a fucking smart man are you.

Good to know that you feel the firing of a respected employee is just entertainment. You jackass.

Wel.. anyone know off/is making the sucessor to reddit, seeing as reddit is about to go digg 2.0.

You don't deserve to have the job that you have. You're the one that should be fucking fired. You're a smug, self-absorbed asshole. You're not even taking people's frustrations seriously and when you got called out on it, you do a complete 180 and pretend like you give a shit when all of your other messages indicate the opposite. It's really unfortunate we live in such a shitty world where people like you keep their jobs while the good people get canned.

You don't fucking regret that comment at all. The only reason you didn't delete is because you know it's going to be there forever. The minute you delete it, someone will reply with a screenshot of what was there before. We both know it. You don't give a fuck. You've already shown your true colours. Anyone who buys your pathetic disingenuous apologetic persona is naive.

I was actually indifferent to the whole drama that's going on. It wasn't until someone showed me that reply of yours that I got angry. Guess what? I ain't the only one. You're making the situation worse.

no one considers you part of the group dude, give it up. I don't even know what is going on and the way you are acting right now kinda shows me that all these people complaining for whatever reason may have a damn point.

Just remember, all the years it took to build, it can fall apart over night because of one ego driven retarded post like this.
