なでしこジャパンの試合中、真珠湾攻撃を示す #PearlHarbor ハッシュタグがアメリカで使われる

7月6日に行われたFIFA女子ワールドカップの決勝戦、日本対アメリカ戦の最中、Twitterで #PearlHarbor のハッシュタグが多数投稿された。一時、Twitter全体の中でも人気だったことを示す「トレンドトピック」に選ばれる状態となっていた。

序盤で4点を先制される一方的な展開になったことが、奇襲作戦の真珠湾攻撃を想起したのか、アメリカのTwitterユーザーが次々と #PearlHarbor を付けて投稿した。

しかし、歴史とスポーツを混同してはいけない、とたしなめるユーザーも多数いた。

#PearlHarborがサッカーの試合を理由にトレンド入りしているとしたら、どうしてこんなに多くのアメリカ人は品位を失ってしまったんだろう？世界からアメリカが憎まれてしまう。大人になろうよ、みんな！
