/r/subredditcancer recently decided to define what constitutes as cancer and delete anything that goes against this definition.

Coincidentally, the mod team at /r/oppression have been discussing what we would define as "oppression". This discussion has been ongoing for a couple months and is in no way a last-minute decision.

The following definition is merely a guideline. If you decide to submit to /r/oppression, carefully look over your collection of evidence you gathered and decide if it meets our definition of oppression. If you are unsure, send it to one of our moderators for peer review.

Oppression:

Systematic and/or continued actions to torment or demean someone in a way that would make a reasonable person

1. conclude that reddit is not a safe platform to express their ideas or participate in the conversation, or

2. fear for their safety or the safety of those around them.
