Hello everyone.

Today I come with a heavy heart and a bad message. I have chosen to retire /r/LetsNotMeet.

The administration of Reddit and the CEO in particular are operating in ways I no longer agree with. Their selective censorship of free speech and their own breaking of rules on multiple occasions is ridiculous and down right wrong and I will no longer let ad revenue from my subreddit line the pockets of liars and hypocrites.

This subreddit has been my own personal child over the past years and it is almost as old as my user account. I loved it as it's grown and as it has evolved. We've been through highs and lows, but this is the lowest point - of not just LNM but of Reddit as a whole.

To the old mod team - thank you for everything and sticking up with my shit over the past years. I could not have done it without you.

To the community - you guys are the bread and butter of this place. Thank you for coming along for the ride; and what a ride it's been.

Yes, this is 100% inspired by the acts of the mod of /r/CrappyDesign. I stand with him and his choice, and am joining him in telling reddit we've had enough.
