Funny how most of the catcalling is in english and not norwegian, dare i say it has nothing to do with norwegian culture?

You are correct. It's seen as pretty damn rude and intrusive.

Also the one Norwegian dude was some drunk guy outside a club.

That is their natural habitat (two-ish nights a week).

"Aggressive flirting" is very uncommon for sober Norwegians. I also think at least a few of those guys were drug/alcohol/cigarette dealers.

There's no think, that's exactly what they are, and this video is completely engineered.

Pretty sad it's gotten this bad, though.

They're all drug dealers, I get exactly the same from 'that demographic' as a 6'2'' man.

This is way out of context, they say the same shit to everyone.

What they don't show here is the rotten Nigerian prostitutes trying to grab my cock at 3am in the middle of Oslo.

Whilst originally I was pissed off there were drug dealers all over the place, it's probably best the Police just leave them to it, rather than drive them underground. They're pretty passive, as this video showed.

Yeah, I get approached similarly by men. They don't call me pretty but I do get the "Hey what's up" which basically means "want drugs?". Though if a woman gets a "Hey what's up" I can see how it's perceived as a catcall.

Yep, English in Oslo (at least during the night) is used exclusively for drugs and prostitution. I could film the same video within an hour, without being even slightly female.

Happened to me a lot in Oslo when I was going for groceries in the evening. Often it was older men asking me how I was whilst approching me fast and calling me baby. Kind of fucking terrifying.

Hi baby, how you doin?

Enig.

[–]Bokstavligen_Hitler 1ポイント2ポイント  (2子コメント)

Hva faen?

[–]Bokstavligen_Hitler 0ポイント1ポイント  (0子コメント)

Wait, why does it matter what time it is? Is cat calling like that acceptable if it's dark?

its not acceptable anywhere lol

They pointed it out because by going to the right place at the right time means you can make any point you want.

I dare you to come to any part of Lithuania, at any time of the day or night and this will never happen. So, no, I don't agree.

And by going to the right place at the right time we could also make it seem like it's the norm to fight in the street.

It feels like you are intentionally missing the point I was making.

Wish I had read this before I started arguing with the guy.

Considering that Norway has become a very appealing destination for a lot of Lithuanian criminals as well as plenty of other foreigners whose values don’t necessarily mesh with ours, how does that surprise you?

Is Lithuania pulling its weight when it comes to taking in asylum seekers and granting family reunions?

Lithuania isn't, since we don't want our streets to become unsafe for our women like it is in Norway.

Lithuania is quite a fair bit more dangerous than Norway in many aspects though.

Really? Look at most of the stats, and you do realize, that Lithuania is a poor country that's still recovering from a very recent occupation, basically from scratch? It's a joke that Norway is anywhere close to Lithuanian levels, it's more of a joke that Norway is worse in many areas. Stop being so brainwashed, when will enough be enough?

The stats show that Lithuania is worse in many aspects. You said, and I quote:

Lithuania isn't, since we don't want our streets to become unsafe for our women like it is in Norway.

When it is infact more unsafe than here. Going in for the "stop being brainwashed" attempt on insulting me doesn't help your case either. Nobody is saying that crime rates are good in Norway or anything. I am saying that it is more dangerous in Lithuania, as the stats back up.

Did you see that many stats are in fact worse in Norway than they are in Lithuania? Also things like in that video, you would never experience here. Of course there are things that are worse here, because we are still rebuilding, but our stats are getting better every year, Norway just keeps getting worse.

[–]Bokstavligen_Hitler -1ポイント0ポイント  (18子コメント)

Lithuania was and is very poor, indeed. My grandmother used to work for a non-profit organization that shipped clothes and other essentials to Lithuania. They often sent pictures back and I can verify that the living conditions were horrible, like you say.

I'm not sure if Latvia had the same conditions as Lithuania but here's an interesting video anyway. LINK

Notice the lack of harassment.

Not sure why I even bother:

The video is in daytime, right? That changes everything. Try walking down Karl Johan at 13:00 on a saturday. It'll be just the same, just a bit more crowded. It makes no sense to compare the two videos at all.

That's the cultural enrichment most people seem to be so in favor of.

I never actually realised how bad it is. This happens to me, and I find it annoying but never thought much of it until now.

At first it seemed like harmless fun and all - but turned dark, at least for me, when the girl said they started following her. Dont approve of that.

Wow that is sickening and scary.

Jesus kristus, det kommentarfeltet...

Forklar.

Har du sett toppkommentarene? Rasistisk tullball ute i det åpne.

[–]Bokstavligen_Hitler -1ポイント0ポイント  (2子コメント)

[–]Bokstavligen_Hitler -1ポイント0ポイント  (0子コメント)
