You can't even spell the word heaven right, stop pushing this nonsensical subjectivist idea of it. Reality is reality no matter how much you shout it out.

And I think it's very important to add that the idea of nirvana is closer to permanent death than anything resembling heaven.

idea of nirvana is closer to permanent death

And another reason which was why the traditional rivals of those who espoused this view(of nirvana) harshly castigated it.

Sorry about that, I was on mobile and switching between 2 languages, I fixed it for you.

Reality is reality no matter how much you shout it out.

Reality for you. The reality for millions of Buddhists is that they will be reborn, are their believes not valid? I have not got a reasonable response yet, you are only attacking me for saying something you don't like to hear. Give me reasons, so we can discuss this, instead of downvoting.

And I think it's very important to add that the idea of nirvana is closer to permanent death than anything resembling heaven.

I know, I thought people knew. It was more to lengthen the list and give more alternatives to the idea of afterlife and heaven.

No, their beliefs are not valid. There's no "reality for me" and "reality for them." This is nonsense and A does not become B because you feel like it.

There is no way to prove definitely from reason there is no reincarnation. Socrates and Plato believed in reincarnation and made sound arguments for it. However, because we know through revelation that we are appointed to die once and face judgement, there is no reincarnation.

And then the Buddhist says:

There is no way to prove definitely from reason there is no afterlife. However, because we know through revelation that we are appointed to die, face judgement, and be reborn. there is reincarnation.

I have no problem with you believing, but you say you own the truth. I am pointing out that other religions think they are just as right as you are. You claiming to own the truth is quite egocentric, we live in a multicultural world, and we have to accept that others tthink differently

Buddhists don't believe in revelation or personal judgement, you're not helping your case at all.

I don't give a shit if it's "egocentric" and not "multicultural" to believe in truth. Denying reality in order to fulfill modernist bigotries and PC orthodoxy is more egocentric than anything I'm doing.

As if Pagans don't believe they hold the fullness of truth. They're not fluffy liberals just because they're non-white and non-Christian.

Could you explain to me why it is truth? I seem to be missing something.

What am I supposed to do? I can't give you a soundbite reddit post explaining why Catholicism is true and everything else is not. Hang around the sub and ask questions.

Well, it seems this is not my kind of sub. Thank you for giving me an insight into your thoughts and feelings. Have a great day
