This is our reddit and if you are unhappy with the direction it is heading than it is within your power to do something about it.
reddit makes money by generating web traffic. Without users going on reddit, it makes no money. By organizing and setting a date to agree to not post, comment or lurk we can show reddit administration that we can easily just do something else, whether it be going to another website, playing video games or something simply not internet related. We don’t need this website and if it continues to go the direction it is going soon we won’t even want to come here anymore. Additionally we don’t support buying gold for anyone for any reason. If you like what someone says give them an upvote.
Victoria Taylor played a huge role in the community and with her gone the work goes to the moderators of those sub reddits who aren’t getting paid for their work. This is a passion for some people and without those passionate people, reddit does not work.
If we had to set goals even if unrealistic we would like to see the immediate removal of Ellen Pao and the reinstatement of Victoria Taylor.
