So many men have internalized the lie that they have uncontrollable sex drives, and no way to control their anger. They aren’t ashamed of their abusive behavior because they see it as a something natural to them and maybe even central to their masculinity. It’s scary as hell.

Really? Because the only people I hear say this is you lot: SJWs

Hello and welcome to Tumblr, where the kins are made up and the gender doesn’t matter. That’s right, the gender is like an Art degree.

You people are spouting some racist shit.

it is so upsetting listening to so many males talk about all of the times they have gone on road trips alone and slept in their cars alone or on the side of the road, or travelled overseas alone and slept on the floor of strangers homes or in parks or at hostels, and they appear to have such freedom in that they are able to be alone in ways that females, unfortunately, cannot. and there is an ignorance surrounding this in that these boys never seem to comprehend just how fortunate they are that strange people and unfamiliar places and the dark of night are not their enemies but rather exciting, promising things.

“Yes, my consuming desire is to mingle with road crews, sailors and soldiers, barroom regulars—to be a part of a scene, anonymous, listening, recording—all this is spoiled by the fact that I am a girl, a female always supposedly in danger of assault and battery. My consuming interest in men and their lives is often misconstrued as a desire to seduce them, or as an invitation to intimacy. Yes, God, I want to talk to everybody as deeply as I can. I want to be able to sleep in an open field, to travel west, to walk freely at night…”

― Sylvia Plath, The Unabridged Journals of Sylvia Plath

There’s nothing stopping you. Especially since the chance of being in any sort of danger by another human being, regardless of gender, is very low if you use common sense.

“tumblr” is literally code for “trans people” “abuse survivors/victims” “poc” “women” etc

when people go “XDDD TUMBLR’S GONNA GET ME!” they are literally saying “I realized what I just said was real fucking shitty and hurtful but I cant take it back or I will look like a pussy so I have to paint the victims of my shitty words as evil and over dramatic”

No, it’s that people don’t take anyone on tumblr seriously because Tumblrinas are ridiculous. Example: this.

“Hi my name is Ebony Dark’ness Dementia Raven Way and I have long ebony black hair (that’s how I got my name) with purple streaks and red tips that reaches my mid-back and icy blue eyes like limpid tears and a lot of people tell me I look like Amy Lee (AN: if u don’t know who she is get da hell out of here!). I’m not related to Gerard Way but I wish I was because he’s a major fucking hottie. I’m a vampire but my teeth are straight and white. I have pale white skin. I’m also a witch, and I go to a magic school called Hogwarts in England where I’m in the seventh year (I’m seventeen). I’m a goth (in case you couldn’t tell) and I wear mostly black. I love Hot Topic and I buy all my clothes from there. For example today I was wearing a black corset with matching lace around it and a black leather miniskirt, pink fishnets and black combat boots. I was wearing black lipstick, white foundation, black eyeliner and red eye shadow. I was walking outside Hogwarts. It was snowing and raining so there was no sun, which I was very happy about. A lot of preps stared at me. I put up my middle finger at them”

The delusions are strong with this one.

Smash the fucking patriarchy. I am sick and tired of privileged white males deciding what everyone has to conform to.

We literally just had a group of people, male and female, black white and brown, decide who can marry.

Yay for marriage equality. This should have happened a long time ago and while it’s a victory let’s hope now we can shift our focus to greater issues at hand for the LGBTQ community! Safety for queer and trans youth/individuals. And let’s not forget that marriage is rooted in the patriarchy.

Two people who love each other and want to spend their lives in each other’s company is rooted in dominance?

What crap! In traditional gender roles - patriarchy - fathers have ALL the rights - wife & kids take his name; he rules the family.

Yet you insist all hard labor is a man’s job.

You also fail to account for irresponsibility on both sides, such as with my birth mother, who abandoned my family when I was 6.
