You could with XMPP, but Facebook's XMPP API is being shut down in a few days in favour of their new API. Plus that was only a very basic implementation, and lacked a ton of the features you'd expect in Facebook Messenger, which this app has.

I discovered this app a few days ago and was surprised to see practically no coverage on it, so I figured I'd share. I've been very happy with it so far.

You can selectively run apps from unknown developers by right clicking on the app itself and hitting run, so maybe they did that.

That'll show up, but you should still be able to continue on and enter it manually.

For my uni address I had to set it up as IMAP manually. In Internet Accounts, go to Add Other Account -> Add a Mail Account and add in all your info there with imap.gmail.com as the IMAP server and smtp.gmail.com as the SMTP server, using your full uni email address as the username.

The only stupid and irresponsible thing here was Adrian Bayley raping and murdering a woman. Everything else is irrelevant when it's entirely the actions of the perpetrator that caused this. You can't say you're not victim blaming when you shift the focus on her being drunk and walking home as if that's the real issue here, not that a person decided to commit a heinous crime.
