Yeah. I'm with you. I'm so upset over my Catholic friends postings on craigslist. People I see at mass every Sunday changing to the rainbow profile pic, posting victory messages, etc. I wish I could ask what they're thinking without essentially driving them out the door.

It's odd, because now we're the bigots and I fully expect that should you voice your opposition firing you would be completely legal. Let alone being free to practice, we're not even free to mention our religion. The tables have turned. We're now enduring an age where the closeted Catholic will come out to their friends, only to lose those who cannot separate the actions or beliefs from the person.

I have often thought of the similarities between being a "closeted" Catholic and being a "closeted" gay person (in the past, or in parts of the world where violence against homosexuals is common) It's ironic that we have so much in common.

I guarantee that your Catholic Facebook friends are prioritizing "Love thy neighbor" above the Bible condemning homosexuality.

You might want to think of changing (catholic) churches if these are the people you see every week at mass.
