私は男の子２人、女の子２人のシングルマザーです。私たちはインディアナ州のLake Stationに住んでいました。長女のゼダが病気になるまでは、普通の生活をしていました。私はフルタイムの仕事をし、13歳のゼダはチアリーダーで、優秀な生徒(straight A student)した。彼女は私にとっては、他の子供と一緒になって大きな手助けとなってくれていました。 私はいつも子供たちの健康に気を配っていました。健康チェックに連れていき、医師の薦めるワクチンはどんなものでも、彼らはうけました。子供たちは全員、そこら辺に流行する単純な風邪を除けば、完全に健康でした。そう、完全に健康だったのは、2008年11月5日、ゼダの健康チェックに訪れた時まででした。彼女の人生は、彼女も知っていた様に、家族の残りの者と一緒に完全に変わってしまいました。 ゼダの小児科医は、私も今は知っていますが、ヒトパピローマウイルスワクチン、そう、ガーダシルの注射を提案してきました。「OK、これは彼女の健康を守るためにやろうと思っていたことだわ」と思いました。医者はやると言い、私たちは注射させました。私は、このワクチンは彼女のような少女向けということ以外、全く何も知らなかったのです。副作用については、注射したところが腫れるかもしれないということ以外は、何も言われませんでした。 一週間して、ゼダは、頭痛がするとか、胃が悪い感じがするとか、あちこち具合が悪いと言うようになりました。おそらく、あなたの同い年の娘のように、ゼダは drama queen （とりとめもないことを言って気を引く人）だと思っていました。彼女がこんなことを言うときには、横になるようにと言い、今日は大変だったのね、とつぶやき、タイレノール（鎮痛剤）を飲ませたりしておりました。このような小さな事が赤信号だとは思いもしませんでした。 2008年11月28日、ゼダの妹を、その友達の家に寄って連れて帰る途中でした。車に乗っていて、ゼダは携帯電話を何度も落とすようになりました。突然、息子が「おかあさん、ゼダが何か変だよ！」と言いました。彼女は叫びながら、よだれを流し、視線は宙を泳いでいました。私には、彼女がてんかんを起こしているように見えました。私の兄弟がてんかんだったので知っていたのです。そして、ERに駆けつけました。 ここは、彼女の診断についての混乱のスタート地点でした。まず、ERの人たちは、ゼダが薬を飲みすぎたのだろうと咎めました。彼らは彼女の顔の前で、何を飲んだか言え、とどなりました。私はとっても恐くなりました。わたしは、何が何が起こっているのか分からず、ここの医師と看護師たちはゼダに怒鳴り続けました。ゼダは私と同様怯えていました。彼女は何かひどく悪くなっていることが分かっていたのだとおもいます。ただ、混乱していて、どうして欲しいか言えなかったのだと思います。間もなく、ゼダはERの真ん中で大きな痙攣を起こしました。それで、かれらは私たちに真剣にあたるようになりました。その時までに、彼らは薬剤のテストをしていて、違法薬剤については陰性でした。 このような恐ろしい数時間が過ぎて、ゼダは、小児神経科医と彼女の小児科医のいる私たちの地域の病院に送られました。そこで、必ずや何かの答えが得られるだろうと思っていました。 いろいろな検査が行われ始めました。この時点では、ゼダは文章全体を言うことができず、一度にわずか数語しか言えなくなりました。彼女はとっても怯えていて、ひどく泣いていました。MRI、CT、脳波、脊髄穿刺の検査が行われました。何を探しても見つからず、すべての検査は陰性（異常無し）でした。ただ、MRIでは右脳に影があり、やっとウイルス性脳炎として治療しました。しかし、ゼダの健康は悪くなっていき、小児科医はゼダが自分のためにやっているのだ、"仮病(faking)"だと言いつづけました。地域の病院にいる4日間に、ゼダは話さなくなり、食べなくなり、歩かなくなり、尿をもらすようになりました。本当におかしいと言っていたのは医者でなく、看護師たちでした。精神科医がきて、検査して専門医の意見として「仮病でない」と言ってくれるまで、彼女の症状は重症だとは思われていませんでした。ある看護師が今いる専門病院に行くべきだと言ってくれました。 私たちは同意しました。45分で、インディアナポリスのリレイ子供病院に逃げるように飛んでいきました。そこでも、彼らは仮病だと彼女を責め続けました。彼らは仮病の行動を捕らえようと、24時間のビデオモニターを設置し、2週間監視し続けました。そして、検査また検査とやり続けましたが、すべて陰性でした。彼女は止められない動き（不随意運動）をするようになり、極端に心拍数が多くなり（180／分）、華氏108.7度（摂氏42.6度）まで発熱し、一時は（薬により）医学的に昏睡にされました。ここに至っても、医師たちは何が悪いのか、なぜ起ったのか私たちに教えることができず、かわりに私たちを責め、仮病を証明しようと多くの時間を費やしていました。誰も、ゼダがこうなったのはガーダシルワクチンのためだと、記録に残るように言おうとはしませんでした(No one would go on the record to say that the Gardasil vaccine did this to Zeda. )。 とうとうゼダは肺の機能を無くし、人工呼吸器に数ヶ月つけられました。気管切開がなされ、栄養チューブが設置され、彼女はもう自力で呼吸することも食べることも出来なくなりました。私たちはリレイ子供病院に4ヶ月いましたが、医者たちはまだ、何が起こったのかを告げることができず、ワクチンの反応でないことは確かだ思っている(they are sure it was not a vaccine reaction)とだけ言いました。これは、もともとは健康な少女にHPVワクチンをした後に起こった同じような反応の、沢山の事例と背馳しています。 今日、ゼダはまだ気管から呼吸し、チューブから"食べて"います。彼女は私たちの家のリビングに置いた病院用ベッドですごし、反応はなく、時間ごとケアと毎日の巡回看護婦の訪問を受けています。 これは私の定められた戦いとなりました。。。彼女がよくなるように日々戦っています。ここで、私が知らなかった事をお教えしましょう。他の親御さんたちも私と同様、知らないのです。私はワクチンは子供たちを守り健康にするものだと考えていました。ワクチンには、こういうことは出来ないのだ、とは知りませんでした。今まで誰も教えてくれませんでした。私のお医者さんは、リスク(危険の度合い）があることは決して教えてくれませんでした。（娘に起こったような）ことがおこるなんて誰も教えてくれませんでした。私は、ワクチンをするなとは言っているのではないのです。しかし、あなたにワクチンをするように圧力をかけた人たちは、誰も、起こったことの責任をとりません。親として、あなただけが責任を負うのです。ワクチンを射つなら、それぞれのワクチンの必要性について、本当に肩の力を抜かなければなりません(you better be comfortable about the need for each vaccine)。なぜなら、どんなときでも子供にワクチンを射つときには、必ずリスクがあるのです。親は、ワクチンについて、いまどんなことが問題になっているかを理解しておくことは、とっても重要です。 私は、ゼダにワクチンを打たせると決断したことを、とても深く後悔しています。娘は人生の質というものを、すべて失ってしまいました。娘が良くなってくれるなら何でもしてあげたいのですが、誰も答えを教えてくれません。彼らはまだワクチンが原因だとは信じていません。今や娘は病気ですが、誰も、赤ちゃんのようになった私の娘を助ける方法を知らないのです。

She was supposed to be beginning of her life. - Amber Kaufmann Deceased age 16 Written by her mother Amber went to the doctor with a sore throat and at the same time she was administered her second shot of Gardasil. She also had a shot of Rosephin and was put on Erythromycin (Z pack).
Being her mom, I asked if she should have the shot since she was sick. Her nurse practitioner said it would be NO problem. Amber collapsed on her way into work with a seizure. Then her heart stopped. Amber was taken to the hospital about 15 minutes away. They did not get a heart beat until they reached the ER. She was transfered to St.Louis Children's Hospital, where she did not come off life support. Her brain had swelled and without a breathing tube, or tube feeding her, she would not be able to live. she was brain dead. - Brooke Petkevicius Deceased age 19
Brooke had dressed to go running with a friend because they were training for a half-marathon. She walked to the elevator, collapsed against the wall and had a seizure. Brooke was rushed to the hospital and passed away... Brooke died 14 days after her first injection of Gardasil from a pulmonary embolism or blood clot. Brooke never had any problems with blood clots, nor did her family have any history of clotting problems. Subsequent tests of her younger sister and her mother showed nothing genetic. - Christina Deceased age 21 Hi, My name is Christina Richelle Tarsell but People call me Chris. I was excited about my junior /senior year at Bard Collage. I was exited about my 21st birthday in November 2007. I did not live to see my 22nd. Suddenly, Unexpectedly, Inexplicably, I died in bed in June 2008. After an extensive autopsy, the cause of death is still "undetermined". Bard awarded me the honor of my degree - Posthumously.
I am Emily Tarsell, Chris's mother. Chris's death came just 18 days after her third injection of Gardasil. Since Chris's death, we have learned too late Chris was having symptoms of an adverse reaction to Gadasil. No one ever told us about the risk. Since Chris's death, I have grieved with other families whose daughters were injured or died from Gardasil. AS information was exchanged, it became apparent that there were patterns to these post-injection reactions. I volunteered to work with the National Vaccine Information Center (NIVC) to support and network with families and to develop a questionnaire to document symptoms and patterns in the reported events. It didn't really matter what activity people were involved in, you would find her in the middle of things. Jessie was born believing life was a challenge she was ready for. Annabelle went to take a bath less than 10 feet from where her families was sitting. 30 minutes later, she was found dead. No cry, no unusual sound, she left the world in silence. Linda Morrin Mother of Annabelle Linda's daughter had died without making a sound. Now Linda finds herself fighting the silence every day. She fights the silence of the manufacturer about the true side effects of HPV vaccines. She died suddenly her first day on the job, coincidentally, only four days after receiving Gardasil. - Megan Hild Deceased age 20 Megan was 20, happy and healthy. She was attending collage with a promise of marriage after graduation. She held her life in the palm of her hand. Now, all this family has is a certificate with an unexplained cause of death on it. Karen Maynor Mother of Megan Since Megan's death, we discovered there have been many more deaths just like her. They are almost all listed as 'undetermined causes'. We were all told there are no answers as to why these deaths and injuries occurred. Parents have been told they were coincidental. - Jasmin Soriat Deceased age 19 Jasmin was fit, happy and fun-loving. She had never experienced any serious illness, had no lung disease, and had never smoked. She also had no previous problem after her normal vaccinations. Less than one month after her last Gardasil injection, Jasmin's friend discovered her body. She had evidently died in her sleep, succumbing to respiratory paralysis....
