What would each heart do if it were in the game?

Red and blue are obviously normal and spirit hearts... yellow should give Isaac a yellow creep trail for the rest of the room. Green seems like it ought to blow things up. Orange can set everything on fire? Purple... mass fear?

Pretty dull ideas, I know. Probably for the best that they're not in the game.

There could be an unlock for having one of each type of heart at the same time!

EDIT: Had an idea for the item! Prism Stone - Active item, 3 room charge. On use, turns a spirit heart into another heart of random color (weight towards black and other colours, small chance of eternal, very rare chance to turn it into a red heart container).

The supreme court just legalized it nationwide. Up until now, it had been up to the individual states, with 30-something having legalized it.

That was kind of my point. That said, the United States doesn't really have a mechanism for it to "[go] to vote" on a national level. It's hard to say how a hypothetical vote would go though, since although a majority of Americans support same-sex marriage, the propensity to vote among supporters and opponents isn't the same. Responding to polls is extremely easy, while voting actually requires a modicum of effort.
