Wikipedia is transphobic. There. I’ve said it. Wikipedia is a vile, transmisogynistic cissexist propaganda site masquerading as an encyclopedia. The people who write articles for Wikipedia are supposed to edit in good faith. What I saw today made me cringe at their lack of sensitivity. The Wikipedia article on “female” for starters.

Seriously? Not all females produce eggs. It gets worse.

Ah excuse me. This is only part of the story. Transwomen usually have XY chromosomes yes, but we all knew we were female from our earliest memories. You can’t assume we are male from our chromosomes. Basic trans theory 101 stuff.

The human penis is an external male sexual organ. 

Staggering cisnormativity here. A transwoman who keeps her penis has a female sexual organ. Penises are female because transwomen with penises are female. #biologyfail

Also, circumcision just became a transfeminist issue. Parents, please do not circumcise babies born with penises. The foreskin can be used for raw materials for sex reassignment surgery. Without one, there is less for the surgeon to work with.

Please, if you love your bepenised children, understand they may come to realize they are female one day, and they might have a better SRS result with an intact penis.

Alternately, they may choose to keep their female penis after transition and they might appreciate the extra stimulation that I hear comes from being uncircumcised.

For what one is is simply a matter of what they perceive they are. 

I have to say as an infertile woman, all the Wiki articles on female biology like childbirth, the cervix, and menstruation that I’ve read are both triggering and alienating for me.
