KotakuInAction Mods are at it again, censor posts about censorship by removing them, ban people, remove comments showing slight criticism about their Hotpockets from showing up (self.subredditcancer)

There's been a lot of censorship going on in regards to confederate flags in the world of gaming (and in general) lately, this brought up a lot of discussion, what did the Mods of an anti-censorship Sub decide to do? They proceeded to censor all discussion and removed all threads about this event, opening a containment-thread that nobody asked for, here are a few of the topics in question:

I don't take any particular stance on KIA but it's quite a different thing for a focused topic sub to remove content that disagrees with their narrative and quite a different thing for a general supposedly all inclusive sub to do the same (since their shouldn't be any narrative to conflict with).

Censorship in /r/KotakuInAction /r/GamerGhazi /r/conservative /r/progressive etc... just isn't as big of a deal as the selective nature of politics on the defaults and the moderation of general topic subs like /r/worldnews /r/news /r/politics etc....

Honestly, they prolly are GamerGaters. There wre false flag issues to start with. As folks drifted off course and no one has bothered to help steer the herd back, I feel the vast majority of Gaters are false flags now.

At least they can suck off someone and feel part of a group.

I stay out of the shit, other than to do my own GamerGate thing, and piss all over the stupid, weakassed bitches. I had to laugh because a false flag I caught and banned early on is now a respected member of the community. And they haven't changed, at all.

Problems with reddit admins have been part of KiA since they tried to shut it down at the very beginning. Reddit's bullshit policies aren't off-topic at all because KiA is largely considered a 'problematic sub' by those types of people, so if FPH can go down, so can KiA. It's important to people to be able to maintain that discussion space and build a line of defense. It has nothing to do with gaining subs or not, and it's really distasteful to throw out retarded, unresearched accusations like that...

Anywho, I "researched" that sub quite a bit, since I was a long time member. Everything I said was correct.

The sub's history is irrelevant, there was a megathread for the reddit shit but the mods didn't start removing posts to force them in there.

It's so frustrating. There are censorship topics in the megathread which would have made r/all as a unique thread.

Thousands of fresh users and curious users asking why a "video games subreddit" cares about that topic. A way to get past the ugly narrative the press is slandering GamerGate with. Nope, a clean and neat /new queue is more important.

GamerGate has been infiltrated by SJWs, especially a few of the Mods there. I saw them remove posts and ban people over using the word "fag" or "tranny".

Just look at how they chose to name their containment-thread:

It doesn't even relate to censoring games, has like 200 Upvotes total and derailed any talking about censorship to be about some stupid shooting that has nothing to do with Apple or Steam's decision or all the other articles and issues.

I can hear their hotpockets getting warm from here while they pat each other on the back circlejerking in their private Modmail how this shows that they're "against racism" and "not in support of the confederate flag" and they prevented all these bad posts potentially informing thousands of people about censorship by censoring them and removing them right away.

For the shots at reaching r/all and the shot at reaching people who do not understand yet what is happening (both in KiA and in gaming as a whole). I see it as a battlefield for GamerGate's soul and currently we are losing that battle on KiA and have lost the battle on 8ch. The best GamerGate hub currently is twitter, but that can change at any second.

The top post in KiA right now is a post about this topic which, according to you, is being "censoring". However I do think the mods are not moderating well and are making a big mistake in cramming everything about this topic into that one post.
