The instructions to help resolve connectivity issues may differ depending on the version of AOL® Connectivity Service (ACS) installed on your computer. Once you determine the version of ACS installed on your computer, go back to the previous page by clicking the Back to previous page button given at the end of this article.

To determine the version of ACS installed on your computer, do the following:

Click the Start button, select All Programs or Programs, select AOL or America Online, and then click AOL System Information. If you see the AOL System Information 2.0 window shown in the image below, you are using ACS 4.1 and above.

Note: If you are using Windows 8, on the Windows taskbar, right-click the AOL icon, and then click System Information. If prompted by the User Account Control, click Yes.

If you see the AOL System Information window shown in the image below, you are using AOL® 9.0 Security Edition with ACS 3.0.

If you see the AOL System Information window shown in the image below, you are using AOL 9.0 Optimized SE/LE with ACS 2.0 or ACS 1.0.
