■Girl group's anti-LDP lyrics cause Yamato city to pull support of event：

YAMATO, Kanagawa Prefecture--An all-girl pop group’s lyrics criticizing the ruling Liberal Democratic Party have hit a sour note with the Yamato municipal government.

The city said it will issue an after-the-fact retraction of its support of a local event where idol group Seifuku Kojo Iinkai (Uniform improvement committee) sang, “Let’s topple the LDP government” and “the LDP, the root of all evil.”
