I can't think of a subreddit that has been banned that I'm gonna, like, miss.

I, personally, I have more of a problem with the blatant hypocrisy and lack of transparency than I do with the actual subs that have been banned. Rather not give Reddit my traffic anymore in response.

Reddit brings in money via gold and ad revenue. Less traffic means less users reached by ads which means less companies paying Reddit to host their ads. Basically, the only way to make a difference is to stop using Reddit.

Then why do you link back here on the sidebar?

Don't be a dick. Existing /r/washingtondc rules apply.

I didn't. The site automatically rendered that link and I haven't bothered writing a custom stylesheet to prevent that from happening.

Reddit is a private business. They don't owe us any transparency.

Eh, certainly not leaving Reddit for voat or whatever, but just as companies don't owe transparancy, you don't owe them your patronage. There are businesses I don't patronize in real life because I don't like their policies, even though they don't owe me a change in their policy.

This is a tired and over-used response. Yes, of course, they're a private business and can do what they want. No one here needs that explained to them.
