This sub is awesome and since things have been going so well I think we should just keep the rules the same for now. I been finding a lot of quality stuff to post and the people seem to really like it.

Barber posts never get old...reposts do though. Im seein the exact same posts with jokes that have just one word written differently...usually worse...within the same hour.

This is a small thing, but maybe more tags for good titles? I see so many bad title tags, and I think it'd be cool to see some recognition for great titles too. That'd be an easy, nice thing to do I think.

I don't have a problem with anything here other than reposts. Like, check "new" and if you don't see your pic in the last 2 or 3 days, post it. I've looked at new before and literally seen 4+ of the same pic within 5 hours. Also someone mentioned the titles, I kind of agree with that, but sometimes they are hard to come up with.

My only other problem, and I've mentioned it before and it was mentioned here, any time white people are roasted for anything, a lot of people get way too heated over it. Tit for tat guys. You can't clown on black people and then get upset at the school shooter/whatever memes.

Anyway I love this sub.

You all are doing a great job. This is my favorite sub.

So here are my thoughts

Keep the comments. Too often the comments are better than the post.
I'm confused about whether things have to be from social media or not because I see plenty of stuff that's just a white background with images and text. I'm not complaining if it's funny it's funny. I just wanna know if submissions are being opened up to more than just social media.
I'm not tired of brush/fam/fire but I do get tired of stuff along the lines of "do black people really do this" or "are black people really like this". I'm not sure if that is something that you as mods can do anything about and usually the community does a good job of educating/mocking whoever says stuff like that so maybe that's good enough.

if you see someone with a posting history in /r/whiterights or /r/coontown hit that report button and they'll be banned before you can type fam in another comment section.

Anyways, there's nothing I can think of, other than that whenever colorism comes up in this sub, it rubs me the wrong way. I dunno, I can't think of any rules that would fix it, but there's a lot of condescending "wow, I can't believe you people would racist towards your own like that" smugness whenever it comes up. It's sort of like the posts where white people are the subject - suddenly it's taken super seriously, except this time it seems like people use the moment to look down on black people.

We need to get better at removing reposts. Sometimes they're fine, but it seems like I'm reporting the same mediocre shit over and over again. I mean, we dug out that 3-4 month old one posted once for that guy in a sticky in no time with only the memory of the pic as a basis, but it takes 2 hours to snitch on yet another "I got 2 degrees" with deodorant one?

I would really appreciate it if the mod didn't tag posts with their own opinion like "tired old joke" or "do you know how to crop." Let us determine if it's tired. It's one thing if it's a repost, then remove it, but it's another thing when a mod interjects his or her opinion when no one asked for it. You guys should be working behind the scenes, like you have with getting rid of racists and all that (great work btw, could not have been easy). But I don't want to see content "stamped" with your thoughts.

In my opinion since this is a sub filled with jokes, we shouldn't be too strict on what content is allowed. I mean obviously blatant racist posts / comments should be removed, but who cares about barber posts? Let that be posted. Too many restrictions may make this sub too serious and take away from the fun, which is one of the many reasons why I come here.

I dropped by "coontown" a few days ago and can't help but wonder, why does that even exist? I can understand making people aware of race issues from a white person's perspectives, and joking here and there, but most of the stuff I've read is just straight up ignorance and hatred towards blacks, and that seems to be the main purpose of that sub. Ultimately, i suppose it doesn't matter that much, because its just words, but damn, what of those words end up inspiring another attack one day? Just my two cents...

I don't like the direction this site is headed. People come here to have conversations and get news, limiting what people can and can't say makes this place no better than any other news site on the web. People are going to be mean, and filtering out the mean posts won't change the world. If you are so sensitive that you aren't able to read the comments here, the Internet is not the site for you, go watch the PC news.

I haven't seen many bad comments here as other subreddits so the community and the mods are doing a good job.

This is one of the best subreddits too, the ratio of laughs to posts is higher here than most of the other 'funny' subreddits.

A little late to this but I just wanted to say thanks for the work you guys do. When mods aren't invovled subreddits go to shit so I'm fine with you guys putting flair on bad titles and whatnot. I'm not a fan of the fake black people slang stuff like bruh and fam but that's a small thing.

This is one of the few subreddits where I feel like I can be real with what I think and I won't get the most stupid shit filling up my inbox.

Heavy handed emotionaly based moderation of subreddits is a primary factor in ones decision when deciding to merge from reddit over to voat.

The fact that you try to ban/censor people speaks volumes, regardless of your reason behind it.
