The whole fitness industry is full of misleading information. This shouldn't come up as a surprise for anyone who's taken body health seriously.
I'm curious, though, what would've been your advices to these men?

0 cardio, lift heavy, eat clean (mostly proteins, fats, leafy veggies), sleep a lot, DGAF about what women think or say or want

How do you not do cardio? Just play basketball with the guys. Don't you feel horrible not being able to run

Cardio is a matter of personal choice. I intend to do it, at some point. No concrete plans of when, but most probably once I see more gains from lifting and once I quit cigarettes (I know, I fucking know).

Lifting is mandatory. People can see your physique. They can't see your blood-oxygen level or aerobic fitness.

I agree, but I wouldn't consider their trainer part of the fitness industry haha. 1) Workout with a partner, or alone. Groups become distracting and more talking gets done than work. 2) Strength-training should be the focal point of a man's workout. It increases testosterone levels, releases endorphins and improves your physical appearance. 3) Women do pay attention to your physique. Although, I would definitely agree that you should workout for yourself. 4) Protein intake is crucial. Any form of clean protein is acceptable unless you have some sort of health-related dietary restriction.

Has anyone seen the signs at planet fitness latley?! They actually 'banned' a whole group of workouts. The place is completley bat-shit crazy.

I once observed THE MOST pathetic thing ever.

I was desperate for money as a broke college kid, so I drove these people a couple miles for a birthday party. The girl's name was Rachel and she was with 3 other guys. She would YELL orders out so bombastically, I thought it was a joke until they all quietly complied without ANY response.

We would be sitting the car and she screams out of nowhere "ROLL UP THE WINDOW!" and they'd do it. And it was really weird because otherwise they seemed as normal as young strangers can seem. I was almost scared to put her in her place because it felt like she had such a strong entitlement streak, she didn't want to be put in her place (or so it seemed).

Anyone know what was going on here?
