Hey quick question. Sometimes if I'm holding a spot where my a1 might stick out and I'll get spotted, I'll remove the SUPPRESSOR (don't want to piss that other guy off more) so that the gun I shorter and doesn't stick out. Is this a bad idea?

Generally just look away far enough into the wall that it doesn't poke out but close enough to the edge that your peripheral vision comes in handy. Best example I can think of is on Dust2 B, there's a great spot directly across from the double doors at the chain link fence. You can hide there and poke your gun into the wall while leaving enough room to see on your left.

Removing your silencer isn't a good enough reason to stay hidden, just move further back from a corner edge or stick your gun in the wall.

    Just a tip, never take the silencer off if you have a gun with a silencer equipped. I see a lot of new people do this. Taking the silencer off does nothing but hurt you. Your accuracy and everything is the same (maybe even worse, I'm not sure), but now people can see you better on the radar and hear your gun better.

        Well you have to, record and render it anyway. He probably used shadow play, fraps or dxtory to record and then rendered using Sony vegas. Then uploaded to gyfcat.
