Voat announcement thread

/r/Voat reacts

KiA thread - "Voat forced to shut down /v/'s because of SJW's spamming CP" = Actual title

2nd KiA thread

Users in /r/voat not happy with the "censorship":

"to dissuade individuals from posting questionable content, we will store all records about users who submit such content and we will forward these records to authorities upon request."

What kind of content? And which authorities?

And what kind of fucked up privacy policy is that?

Twitter, Google, Yahoo all have REFUSED to give user data to law enforcement, except following proper (and expensive!) legal proceedings. But Voat will just roll over to an email from i.am.a.policeman@saudi.gov asking for details on a user who posted something they don't like?

These people are NOT safe with your personal data.

"Voat is literally reddit now"

Big mistake. Why would anybody choose Voat over reddit if they are going to censor it just like reddit?

Darnit! SJWs win again.

Sigh. Another website caving to corporate pressure brought on by the SJW mob. And to think I had high hopes for VOAT. Oh well. On to something new.
