I received a new credit card recently and went through the process of updating auto-pays with a bunch of different vendors. While doing this I found my old Coinbase account that I was using for just-in-case-Newegg-has-another-sale purposes (never bought more than $20).

Somewhere in my mind I remembered I'd gone through their qualifying process to allow a high-instant purchase amount. I fished around for a minute and checked the max buy limit: $50,000.

A $50k buy limit for a no-take-backsies bearer asset.

I would have been thrilled with this 2 years ago, now I can't close my account fast enough.
