This has happened outside of reddit, it appears. What they get up to offsite cannot, unfortunately, be stopped through those kind of means. However, I do agree that it is an invasion of someone's privacy, against an individual who does not deserve it. I believe that such a thing is, in fact, a criminal offence (I don't know about the States-I live over the water), so it will be up to the authorities to do something about it.
We must show ourselves to be on the moral high ground (which we are, and boogie certainly is) and dismiss internet vigilantism as a possibility. It was that kind of thing that has given rise to these "social justice" warriors in the first place (as a side note-I hate to see something like social justice, one of the linchpins of liberalism, be sullied and destroyed. This is not justice-and it certainly is not social)
