Caught Cheating wife with Skype transcripts. She says I took them without permission. (self.legaladvice)

This is in Texas, sorry

I have a cellphone screenshot of the computer screen and I copy pasted the transcript to my computer. She denies any wrongdoing, and that I got onto her account without permission, even though we both own the computer.

Do I have a case? I'm very confused

Skype was left in the background of the computer. It wasn't on the screen, I had to alt-tab to it while she was gone from the house

Why, though? It doesn't really look like there's an issue of alimony, anyway, so why bother with it? You've only been married 3 years, you haven't said that your child has a disability, it doesn't seem like she has a disability, and I'm going to be generous and assume you haven't abused her.

The faster, easier way is going to be a no-fault.

Unless you've been married 10+ years and are worried she'll try for alimony, there's no real point in pursuing an adultery claim in the divorce. Here is some info on alimony and adultery in TX.

It might have to wait, reading his posting history it looks like his wife is currently pregnant (post about 5 months back about her finding out).

You don't need a reason for a divorce in Texas, as its a no fault state. If you have evidence of her being "at fault" for the divorce, then you can submit it to your divorce lawyer, and the courts may or may not accept it or consider it when it comes time to divide your assets.

Odds are great that the cheating won't matter at all.

And I recommend staying off /r/TheRedPill.

And delete your reddit account, I live in Texas and could probably find you based off of what you have said, I live couple hours from you.

You don't really want everything you post used against you in divorce.

If your wife is currently pregnant you'll have to wait until kids are born to divorce, and get a DNA test.

No DNA test on your daughter, she's too old, you'll be paying child support on her.

Whatever you do, stay away from TRP. It's not going to help you through the divorce process; it will only take all the negative feelings that naturally occur during divorce, and amplify them. You need to be keeping your emotions in check, not riling yourself up.
