Unless we get the majority of the world population on our side it doesn't even matter. We are fighting lies that have no end at this point. Lying is a mainstream swaying strategy. These people don't even hide their lies, because the mainstream doesn't know any better (through no fault of their own).

Women won't even help because they'll just pretend our side is sock puppets or.. Whatever!

The entire mainstream media is bought and paid for. They're writing the narrative changing the school system and shoving their false stories and narratives onto us.

Normal stories are being destroyed (Witcher 3, among many many others are going to be toppled and shut out and we just get to watch as everything gets taken over.

I hate to be that guy but I feel like they have a position we can't beat at this point.

Honestly although minor things have changed unless we get hold of the mainstream it's only a matter of time. They have the money and power. I'm honestly completely horrified to be totally honest :(

It's more like people don't care -- and that's a good thing. Out in the real world the SJW bullshit is such a massive stretch for the average, reasonable person, it requires such mental gymnastics and an entirely new dictionary and thesaurus that it has no traction whatsoever.

Sure the social media hugbox is gigantic and loud, but in the context of the rest of the world it's nothing. It just seems bigger to us because we're closer to it and exposed to it on a daily basis.

The overall view means shit. People that are part of this industry are the one that matters. If developer and publishers dont back down that's a win.

To be totally honest I hope people see this and double down and go that much harder man! I do. I've just seen a lot of shit and I.. well.. I don't like the odds. This is embarrassing but my own family basically disowned me because I wasn't good enough for them no matter how hard I tried. And now I'm seeing the one thing I enjoy get corrupted like everything else I tried to do and it really sucks.

I get how you're feeling, but change starts small. If you want inspiration, look at the early punk movement or the end of the 1950s, the red scare, the general tide of fascism in the wake of the world wars... China is probably the most successful and long-lasting that comes to mind, but you have to keep these things in a historical perspective. This isn't he first time people have attempted to use propaganda, authoritarianism, and fear-mongering to control public opinion and it won't be the last.

Find a way to make supporting the GG cause profitable, and you'll pretty much win.

I don't know. I've kind of thought we've already won. For all the negative press we continue to grow. Our horribly sexist/violent game titles continue to get top sales figures.

Even the people that constantly talk about these issues, whether they can see it or not, don't live up to the high standards they espouse.

People talk about how beautiful fat people are, but nobody I know is dumping their hot little girlfriend for a large woman. They talk about how terrible violence is, but I've seen a ton of SJW's threatening GG with violence.

Even guys like Arthur Gies. He TALKS about the horrors of sexual objectification and, all the while, he's probably sitting on the Suicide Girls website cranking one out.

They can have the mainstream narrative. Hell, they already do. What difference does it make? People still buy GTA. People spend billions on porn.

I don't think this is a fight they can win.

Many months ago when the MSM jumped on the narrative and started pushing I felt the same way. It's extremely difficult to convince people about what GG is when a simple google will bring up pages upon pages from "reputable" sources claiming it's a harassment campaign driving women from the industry and their homes.

Here we are today, still around almost a year later, still relevant, and still the falsely accused bogeyman in every media agency's closet.

IMO, GG is literally a game of Dark Souls. We'll keep dying like the undead, and keep respawning to overcome seemingly impossible hurdles to one day finally walk out of the Kiln of the First Flame as the new Dark Lord in the Age of Man.
