Male dominance and entitlement are reality. Look around, listen.
Males speak louder than womyn, they interrupt us and dominate any conversation they are in.
Males feel entitled to our bodies, our safe spaces, our lives, and our time.
Ever talk to a womyn on the bus because she was reading a book that you once enjoyed? Ever stop to think that perhaps she was reading and didn’t want to be interrupted? I certainly haven’t.
Have you ever thought about why we all hear TW whining about being let into womyn’s bathrooms and feminist spaces and not about TM rallying to be let into men’s clubs and socials? Nope, no reason.
Wonder why the rates of rape are slanted incredibly to the male being the perpetrator, both for female and male victims/survivors of sexual assault and rape as well as attempted rape, catcalling, violence and harassment in general? Me neither.
It must be just a coincidence that virtually all of the explorers (read: genocidal colonists) that felt/feel themselves entitled to land not their own and the peoples who reside/d on that land were and are male. No pattern there.
I always thought toxic masculinities obsession with the “alpha” male caricature was an attempt to promote dominating and entitled behaviour at the expense of men who don’t align themselves in such a typically male sex-socialized way. Not a chance.
I guess it’s silly to think that male dominated scientific studies would be sexist in attempt to mirror their own toxic socialization in other animalia.
Then again, you felt so entitled to come in here with your gaslighting tactics.
Then again, it’s not like male experience trumps female experience (read: he-said-she-said scenarios where a rapist won’t be tried for lack of evidence, aka he is believed to have not committed any crime despite a female victim/survivor, usually multiple victims/survivors, testifying to the contrary).
Then again, it’s not like you care.
