Hi KotakuInAction.

I hope you're having a lovely night and evening. Before I say anything, I would like to say that this comes as a personal opinion of mine and is not any offical expression as a moderator. These are my words and my words alone.

There has been a lot of fuzz and a lot of hate the past months and weeks, and maybe especially the past few days due to the censoring of certain subreddits. A lot of people are angry, and are not afraid to express this anger. I just want to take some time to remind you that the people we are opposing are - beyond all their various degrees of bullshit and hatreds of their own - just people. They are not machines and they HAVE feelings.

Now, obviously some people will not care about this. They will say that "Well, they had it coming for [insert X here]". This encouragement is not for them.

This encouragement is for all the people who have let the heat of the moment get to them and maybe gotten more angry and hateful than they neccesarily want or need to be. The people who are already sick and tired of outrage culture and dogpiling from the SJW's. Or the dehumanization from Ghazi. Or whatever else that we have experienced over the past 8 months that we MAY just find ourselves doing too occasionally.

This is a naive little plea, I know. But remember that behind every sentence written here and there and everywhere sits a person with their own beliefs, thoughts and personal baggage (and possibly a mental disorder or two). Sometimes - I think - it's best to stop and think twice before posting some exagerated stuff that is concocted in the heat of the moment. They have not given us the benefit. That's why I think we should be better than them.

Just to underline the sheer pretentiousness of post, I will - of course - end with a cliché quote: "He who fights monsters should see to it that he himself does not become a monster."

Alright. Carry on, shitlords.

Kind reminder, I am not a nice person. I have no obligation to be nice or coddle anyone's feelings. I don't go out of my way to lash out at people or things but I think I speak for a lot of people when I say we've been pushed one too many times and this time* it was too far. We are sick of people telling us that the way we think is wrong, that body types we like are wrong, that the things we like are wrong, that our skin is wrong. FUCK THAT NOISE. I am not a monster sir, I know my limits, but I am very very pissed off and I will make that known to the people who are trying to shame and control me.

Good to see some remnant of the /pol/ spirit remains here. If we become introspective and start doubting the validity of our cause we'll simply cannibalize our own users and be rendered useless. The fact that our posts are consistently on /r/all proves we already have the support of the people so PR is completely fucking useless right now.

I see no reason to tread on eggshells either. I'm just saying that there's a level of anger and hate that's simply unnecessary. I am not saying it's a prevalent thing. Neither am I saying that being critical or calling out people on their bullshit is it. But there IS a line, and I think it's a good thing to consider whether or not one wants to cross it.
