No superiority complex here, we are just against a unhealthy life style choice and try to spread the word about it.

We are upset with a society and media that is projecting that being fat is genetic or normal.

It is not, being fat is a unhealthy lifestyle choice just like being a drug addict. And just like drug addict they have the option to turn their life around but, again just like most drug addicts, they choose not to.

You wouldn't be upset at a subreddit of people bashing drug users because using drugs is unhealthy and not safe for your body. Why is being overweight different?

FPH was 150K strong, so yes I agree there were some assholes who took it into other sub's, thats the internet, get over it. I am gonna go out on a limb and assume you were not sub'ed to FPH so you really dont know what kinda sub it was. Yesterday was backlash, 9/10 times the sub was full of articles about how being overweight is unhealthy and running lives.

Being overweight and being a drug addict are both life choices, unhealthy ones at that, that can be fixed with effort and willpower.

I wasn't subscribed, I would have been banned for being a white knight. I did look through the top posts, it was a train wreck I couldn't stop watching. There wasn't much intellectual conversation, mostly crude, low brow insults and a circle jerk that produced chafing hands.

The hate was brewing and manifesting. 150k subscribers is 149k too many. I don't get off on shaming other people. I stick up for what I think is right and sorry, I don't like people putting other people down for petty shit. Some of you sick fucks are crazy and need to separated from each other.

Wow so you browsed through the top all time posts which more then likely were various meme's, and as we all know meme's are to be taken 100% seriously and we should let them dictate our lives.

Lets be honest here, I get the feeling you dont like FPH because you are indeed yourself overweight but if you are not or are not is irrelevant, you need to at the very least agree that it is a unhealthy life style choice to be overweight.

Being overweight is like being a drug addict. Its a choice they make that is unhealthy and it is wrong for the media to portray it in such a way that is accepting. Being overweight is not a handicap and it is not genetic, they should not be treated in any special fashion or have any special privileges. Their bodies are not beautiful, they are as unhealthy looking as an anorexic person.

The problem here is that you are imposing your own views onto what /r/all should be in the first place. On a site like Reddit there's millions of different viewpoints that think 'oh, x needs to be like this! That'll make it better!' when in actuality in only gets better for you.

Personally, I think the proper response should have been to remove /r/fatpeoplehate from /r/all just like /r/conspiracy is. Then peeps who don't want to see it won't and the shitlords still get their little corner to play in.
