Heavy /r/pics moderation of any post that comes close to FPH or Pao posts.

/r/PunchableFaces is down to only 1 non-shaddow banned mod

Currently its only taking within minutes once a r/FatPeopleHate### post hits the front page for it to get banned

/r/pics is being spammed hard with FPH posts.

Annnnnnnnd...all of the original FPH mods have been shadow banned.

At least the entire first page of /r/punchablefaces is currently Ellen Pao.

/r/CandidDietPolice/ was just banned.

/r/ObeastAppreciation/ was just banned.

19 out of the 25 links on the first page of /r/all is Ellen Pao's face from /r/punchablefaces

/r/FatPeopleHateHD/ was just banned.

/r/fatpeoplehate24/ was just banned.

I should note here that the subs that I'm posting that have been banned had made it to the front page.

/r/LargePeopleAnimosity/ was just banned.

/r/conspiracy, /r/imgoingtohellforthis, /r/circlejerk and /r/freespeach are also all on the front page with fph posts

/r/pics is still under heavy attack, but the front line seems to hold as post after post gets deleted, /r/

of note: /r/fuckellenpao and /r/ellenpaohate have both made it to the front page.

Yet they bought hundreds of golds. Like I'm not even kidding, almost every post had 1-2 gold... not mentioning the comments...

This is just what happens when your stance is that anything goes. If you allow subreddits devoted to sex with dogs, of course people will be outraged when you take down pictures of naked celebrities. It would be impossible for that to not seem capricious. If you allow subreddits like /r/niggers, of course they're going to be assholes who gang up to brigade. The fine users of /r/jailbait are sharing kiddy porn? What a shocking revelation. The point is, you can't let the inmates run the asylum and then get shocked when someone smears shit on the wall. Stand up for standards for a change. Actually make a stance for what you want reddit to be. You'll piss off some people but who cares? They're the shitty people you don't want anyway. Instead you're just alienating the good users who are sick of all of the shit on the walls.

Edit: To be very clear, I'm not defending the 'there are other bad subs so we should be okay' position a lot of them are taking. What I'm trying to say is that when you allow reddit to be consumed by communities designed for shitty people to congregate, you can't be surprised when reddit becomes populated with shitty people while the people who don't want to see a front page filled with hate just quietly leave.
