UCB is great, I never really noticed how similar the "Das Negros" sketch by Key and Peele is to this one.

Wkuk has one about jerks that's also similar. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oe4dC10PqlU

Reminds me of the scene from inglorious bastards. But with actual jews.

Mixed with the one in Django where Mr Candy talks about negro brains

Shoots into the floor

LOL, I forgot about this one too. WKUK was what got me interested in sketch comedy, not their best work though admittedly.

wkuk's WORST sketches will still be leaps above a ton of other sketches imo.......im not biased at all....

CALM DOWN, JUST CALM DOWN.

[–]Tickle_The_Grundle 3ポイント4ポイント  (0子コメント)

Ian Roberts is one of the showrunners for Key and Peele.

woah, both are really similar to story of Anne Frank. Crazyyyyy

I feel like people are going to downvote just due to controversy but this is hilarious. I remember the first time I saw it on CC, I laughed my ass off.

Same here. UCB is one of the best sketch comedies ever.

You know, I had the titular line in UCB.

Well, I had the titular line in Star Wars. I played a stowaway on the Millennium Falcon and I walked into the scene and said "Man, I'm just so sick of all these Star Wars."

UCB = Upright Citizens Brigade. Now I know WTF Maron is talking about in almost every interview.

He's probably talking about the UCB theatre.

Aside from the show, it is also a comedy collective in Chicago like the Groundlings

Maybe the FPH subscribers were using the sub through a hole in a sheet. Anybody think about that?

If this is the best of what they have, then I'm going to have to disagree with you.

I felt like I might, but this was pretty hilarious to be fair.

Hearing him yelling "free chocolate!" to get them to come out from hidding, reminds me of this creepy fucker.

YES! Immediate memories of that movie... the dance he does around the square terrified me as a kid!

wow, this movie is so old I didn't think anyone else would have thought of this too, but yeah that guy creeped me the fuck out, and now he's dead.

You've been banned from /r/paoyongyang for the following reason:

Failed to create a safe space for diverse peoples, triggering content.

/r/fatpeoplehate would happily accept this

I'm off the internet for a day because I was stuck on a subway platform for the longest time and I come back to posts about FPH.

Quick rundown of what hit the fan yesterday today?

Today you mean. Happened like 8 hours ago. /r/outoftheloop has a unbiased summary and discussion about it if that's your thing. If you're a reactionary passionate person who likes being angry just browse /r/all.

After looking at r/all, i feel like if the average redditor got hit by a truck, the world would probably be a better place.

Reddit is no longer a user driven website.

"oh no i cant hate on fat people anymore abloobloobloo" ;_;

Right? People are so upset about not being able to bully one another. Reddit is privately owned. If you don't like it, get the fuck out. I for one am happy that admins shut down subs like those (there's plenty worse ones regarding I know).

Are you incapable of using this site

Sweet! This is my youtube account! Glad others enjoyed this scene. I uploaded it because I couldn't' find it anywhere else. I made the title what I was searching youtube and google for :P. This entire episode is about 'fatties' it's one of my favorites. I uploaded another clip here

I'm just pissed now I have to stay off /r/all for a month again. Sigh...

Edit. Since half you all seem to not get the joke. I'm joking about staying off of the front page of Reddit because anytime A subreddit gets banned the front page becomes pants on head retarded for a few weeks.

RES - Filter. It makes it so easy to hover over subreddits and click "filter" and never see the circlejerk again.

Farking hell.. /r/all is just beyond out of control. Thank fuck for multis man, otherwise reddit is just plain broken.

omg.. where can i find meatball sub incense???

So, /r/fatpeoplehate is gone, but /r/coontown is still up...?

I'm a bit surprised too, but I think it doesn't have to do with the content of the subreddit. It would have to do with breaking reddit rules, like brigading and vote manipulation.

/r/CoonTown is the follow-up to a few previous subs that were banned for those reasons, so I think they are a little more wary about breaking the rules (or how to break them without getting caught).

then why isnt srs banned

Probably because SRS wasn't the 6th largest sub

FPH was the 6th largest sub? Wow.

Active. It only had 151k subs but was like somewhere in top 10 for activity.

Makes sense that those who hate the fat people would be very active.

I mean, SRS still has over 60k subscribers and 4 out of 5 of the banned subs had less than 5k.

yeah but there's like 6 people active on there. it's not really even relevant anymore but people bring it up like it's behind every click of the downvote.

SRS has like six users any more. They've moved over to SRD.

Because SRS doesn't brigade lol

Imgur blocked /r/fatpeoplehate images from reaching their front page. /r/fatpeoplehate got pissed and posted the personal information of imgur admins and called for attacks. That's why they got banhammered.

Serious question: what is your motive behind lying about this? They posted public pictures of them, no personal information. Nobody called for any "attacks".

Oh yeah that makes way more sense.

They posted publicly available pictures of the admins and called them fat. How's that any different than /r/videos shitting on how nikki raps? How's that any different than /r/cringe calling bronies a bunch of autists? Protip: it's not. They didn't visit their houses or places of work and actually harass them. They didn't post addresses or fucking names. Like SRS and gawker did with violentacrez, where they actually fucking doxxed a porn subreddit mod and harassed and ruined his life. Yet that gets a free pass because media was on the doxxer's side. FPH called some fat admins fat and they got their buds involved and censored them under the guise of safety.

Don't buy into the first thing you read.

The rules for that kind of shit are very specific in that even posting of publicly available info is not ok.

You don't even get to the first thing you read.

"Personal info" aka publicly available images.

reddit.com/r/announcements said they were banned for harassment

No personal information was posted and no one called for attacks. Stop spreading misinformation.

like brigading and vote manipulation.

fatpeoplehate never did that as far as I can recall, but /r/fitness brigaded them and they're still around.

FPH had extremely strict rules when it came to brigading an whatnot. Even linking anywhere else on reddit got you an automatic ban and your comment immediately deleted by a bot. The subreddit got deleted because it was massive and starting to draw a lot of attention. Similarly, once /r/jailbait made the news, it was time for that to get shut down as well.

reddit.com/r/announcements said they were banned for harrassment.

/r/wekindadislikechubbypeople ?

Do you understand the point of the ban? It wasn't that it was offensive it was the fact that it was brigading and releasing public info.

I see a lot of people saying this but I don't see any proof, I never saw anything about info being released or brigading.

Fat people are better at complaining.

Seriously, it is a cautionary tale. Given the fluid nature of the "rules" of reddit and the arbitrariness of which they are applied, a ton of subs could just up and be gone.

This place is starting to smell a lot like Digg circa 2009.

Agree or disagree with any of these subs really; you have the ability to simply not visit them.

Agree or disagree with any of these subs really; you have the ability to simply not visit them.

Same with reddit as a whole. If people are mad they lost their little bully corner, there's a wide open internet they can go explore.

They can start their own site and dedicate it to how other people suck worse than them. Fuck this casual, subforum stuff. Think of how focused you could get all that hate when you've got a whole site for it.

how the hell do you find these things?

How many subs did fph have?

Man, Matt Besser was amazing on that show, I don't understand why he couldn't catch on anywhere else.

He's big on Earwolf, no?

so this is what the National Parks Association did with the Newport land...

/r/fatpeoplehate was contained. A community where people could choose to go or not. Then Reddit deleted their homeworld ensuring their spread.

They were anything but contained - the reason they got banned was that they DOX'd the imgur admins.

How can you dox someone when their information is already posted to the internet.

But it wasn't contained, that was part of the problem. I recall a little while back they stole some users photos off of /r/makeupaddiction and were mocking her. The user handled it expertly but still crossing their hate over into other subreddits isn't being contained.

http://www.np.reddit.com/r/offmychest/comments/2cfn8f/my_photo_was_shared_on_rfatpeoplehate/

I remember a very overweight kid during health said that he preferred being fat because it fits him. There's a diffrence between hating and helping and that sub just hates.

No shit. The word 'hate' was right in the sub's name. And they made it perfectly clear that they were not about helping fat people lose weight. They just hated them and I can understand why.

They were a bunch of insecure assholes the last time I checked, not about progress or anything meaningful. That type of hate should be rarely understandable.

Edit: Though, it is still wrong to ban it. If you don't like it don't go to the sub! I mainly just mean to say I actually can't understand their mentality whatsoever, and I'm into many fitness related things.

What do you mean don't go to the sub? They literally invade all the subs and constantly shit on anything that has a fat person in it. Originally it was a sub to hate people that promote fat as being healthy, then it turn into a fucking shit show of hating every single fat person ever.

Do you see the front page right now? That should be reason enough for fat people hate being banned. Bunch of fucking idiots are acting like goddamn children over this shit.

Pretty much.

I was starting to see the weirdest comments show up in entirely unrelated situations. There could be a conversation about whether Witcher 3's graphics were downgraded before release that would end up with people telling someone, "You must be a fatty. You sure sound like one," and, "I'm just saying you sound like a fatty. Not able to take any responsibility for yourself." Remember, this is a conversation about videogames.

I've seen posts on r/food where someone asked for a recipe and ended up being mocked for being a fatty, because the recipe "should be obvious." When another poster mentioned that some people aren't great with figuring out recipes, they were told they were just using excuses, and they were probably a fatty too.

I've seen people post on /r/fitmeals and be made fun of for being fat. Like that's somehow proof they shouldn't post there, even if they were fat. That's actually a place where people are actively posting only because they're trying to eat well, and people would come out of the woodwork to call them fatties.

I mean, seriously, FPH was leaking. It wasn't being "helpful." It wasn't trying to tell people that they were unhealthy. It was actively seeking people out and insulting them, often for really strange reasons (such as arguments about videogame graphics or recipes).

Actually this is much more high brow that the folks in r/fatpeoplehate

Way too high brow. r/fatpeoplehate was like performance art for expressing how disgusted you felt seeing fat people. You had to be dirty, nasty, filthy repulsed then barf all over about how much you HATED fat people on that sub. I think it was a fetish almost because people on there seemed to actually get off on the hate. It was unreal!

And will continue to be

Do you think it was a fetish? Like, they are all like, "Look at fatty! So fat! And I'm so hot and thin! I'm so hot and thin next to fatty with all her fat! Look how hot I am and fatty is so fat! I'm gonna go jerk off now because I'm so hot and fatty's so fat!"

Seriously, it was like that. I really think that there's this weird dichotomy enabled by that sub of people who were fat and then people who got off on it but as sadists wanting to shame them. Literally a circle jerk of them.

[–]Luung 0

I don't understand the purpose of spending one's time on an internet forum dedicated to shitting on people you don't like. There are so many hateful subreddits and internet communities, and I can't imagine the kind of person who would spend their time there. Literally any other activity would be a more productive use of their time. Thinking about it makes me a little bit sad.

well that escalated quickly...

I'm surprised at how well the default mods are handling it. Accounts that just follow the defaults, and only look at their "front" page, would never even know this is happening. I'd dare say that's probably 75% or more of the users on reddit. This is the only post in any default sub that even mentions fph or fat people that is anywhere near the "front" page.

Why is r/Coontown still up? I guess Reddit likes promoting discrimination, hate and intolerance.

ugh people actually froth at the mouth over fat people on the internet? good thing they don't have a weight issue so they can dedicate more time to their ugly personalities and bulging insecurities.

The problem is that most humans have an ugly personality and bulging insecurities. Being fat or fit really has no correlation here. But that's fine, its a system that has pushed early humans to do amazing things that other animals could never be inspired to do. Maybe its outdated and we need to move past it, or maybe forfieting it will cost us our humanity; who's to say?

Say what you will about /r/fatpeoplehate , but at least they didn't live in a delusion as crazy and irrational as the HAES movement and at least they spread truths over lies.

And maybe I just have a stronger character than APPARENTLY most redditors, but I would rather hear a spiteful truth than a lie that keeps me on a direct path to disaster.

So what you're saying is that the subscribers of /r/fatpeoplehate got up in arms over what is evidently an extremely vocal minority of a minority group that should have never been considered a minority group to begin with.

Sounds like pointless bullshit to me.

why do you think it has to be one or the other? You can believe that being fat isn't healthy and also not be a douchebag who hates everyone that is overweight

This is how I imagine them now: http://i.imgur.com/1QEUiyW.gif

I honestly don't get why people hate /r/fatpeoplehate so much.

Because they're cuntbags?

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_VAJAY 4ポイント5ポイント  (0子コメント)

And yet just like the WBC, they have a tendency to congregate where no one wants them.

RIP r/fatpeoplehate. I'm gonna miss you, buddy.

Obviously you'd have to be an utter douche to visit that sub, but that doesn't mean I think it should be banned. The slippery slope starts here, today.

I figure most of them are probably overweight themselves.

A lot of them are probably slightly fat and just go "hey at least im not that guy"

Even if you're somewhat overweight you're still a far cry from the 400 pounders you see in that subreddit.

Actually I've seen some of their post on a /r/all where they were mocking a woman (wasn't huge but noticeably chunky) who lost weight saying she's an idiot because she feels proud of herself for losing weight when she shouldn't have gained weight in the first place

No, you have to get verified to be a certified shitlord - send in a picture, holding your username. The "no fatties" rule was a serious one.

I'd love to see a /r/fatpeoplehate protest. I bet it wouldn't be beautiful swimsuit model types but neckbeards

Umm, the users verified their physiques with the mods
