I found trp in a slump. I was not sure where I was really going, was in a bad place in terms of my self-esteem, and got suckered in.

It took me 8 months. 8 months of sitting around, nodding at theories that I'd NEVER have thought I'd even consider. For somebody who loves science and has faith in the scientific method, what the fuck was I thinking when I was agreeing with the pseudo-bullshit "proof" and "evidence" they were shoveling into my mouth?

The last few days, I've been reading thebluepill, finding it resonated with a lot of feelings I'd been having about the sub recently. Of course, the typical cult mantra to keep faith (frame?) had me thinking I was being drawn back into my beta ways. And then it hit me. "What the fuck am I doing?" I noped out kinda confused about what the hell happened the last few months.

I think if it hadn't been for the flurry of posts here, I'd probably have kept telling myself that the doubt will go if I just keep going. The circle jerking can sometimes seem to go a little too far, mind you, but in the instances of solid criticism of a post/theory, I really appreciate what you're doing. Thank you.

I think I've forgotten how to talk to girls. Well, at least I started lifting weights again. At least there's that.

Welcome back! ;) Don't be too hard on yourself for falling for some formulaic and simple "answer" to dating... especially one that feeds on your insecurities and anger.

Keep TRP's only decent advice (well, it's not like TRP "owns" this advice... pretty much every self-help movement suggests this): focus on yourself and keep improving. As for the rest of their "help", I hope you're able to purge it and get back to normal.

You might want to post this in /r/exredpill as well... that sub always can use a bit more action.

Just talk to girls and don't think about the fact that they are girls. We're humans too and pretty similar to guys. Be friendly, ask about her interests, talk about yours, find something in common, and go from there! (Probably easier said than done for some people, I understand, but this is the best I've got!)
