The problem with your argument is you generalize the beliefs of pro-lifers into the caricature that you see fit.

I'm generally against male circumcision, but the vast majority of children survive circumcision. You can't say the same thing about abortion obviously.

Isn't that the point?

I consider the fetuses that are aborted to have come out ahead of people who are born, suffer, and die, so I actually consider abortion to be a morally correct decision and giving birth to be morally reprehensible. As a result, survival of circumcision actually doesn't even remotely factor into my thought process as anything other than a negative.

Those who are willing to murder defenseless human beings invariably try to rationalize it. Op made a straw man, and attacked that to justify his/her view. The opinions of some pro lifers are not compatible with the opinions on other issues of other pro lifers. They must be wrong hurr durr

You think murderers and mafia hitmen think they're bad people? Hell no. Not surprising that those who lobby for abortion rights when they have already been born act as if they're standing up for justice. They are truly the scum of the earth and epitomize everything wrong with society, civilization and humanity. Easy to argue for the right to kill when YOUR life wouldn't be legally exterminated

And now you're the one making false generalizations. I would prefer to have been aborted and consider being aborted to be preferable to being forced to be born. Am I rationalizing? Maybe, in the sense that I am approaching the issue from a rational view. By the way, everything wrong with society, civilization, and humanity is society, civilization, and humanity. Evil is ingrained in people, and that is something that hasn't changed in spite of all the revolutions people thought would improve life.
