On more than one occasion our IRC channel on freenode had been reported to the freenode admins. An admin would come sit in for a couple hours - a day then leave. Never had any problems until the admin named tomaw decided to stop by, he was no where near as cool as thomas and by his second visit he was there to shut shit down and he was rather agitated at our existence.

They decided to sit in for a week and monitor things.

thomas who was usually a cool as fuck admin, he would hang out and shoot the shit with us when he was in by himself; he and Homer really grew to know each other and shared in many romantic evenings and long talks in which they stared into each other's eyes for hours. However with tomaw in the room you could feel the shame and sorrow in thomas's silence as he could not freely be with his beloved and Homer cried himself to sleep every night longing for his embrace.

Of course regardless of how well we behaved tomaw was already dead set on shutting us down, and at the end of the week when they left tomaw said he'd have to have someone go through the logs. Of course their insanely quick decision afterwards and what spb says suggests they did in fact NOT look through the logs.
