    Thanks for the link. I'm with the mods on this one. I mean, I'm usually a shill for the mods, but this time, I can say that with a straight face. Behavior like that sort of abuse is exactly the reason subs have mods, and I honestly think all subs should work that way. They absolutely did the right thing, and they're doing the right thing by refusing to apologize for it. I hope that they stick to their guns and refuse to give KIA the satisfaction of being a successful hate mob.

    I agree with the OP over there: the mods didn't even act fast enough. Those pricks actually seriously harassed someone to the point where she left the website. If they'd been banned immediately, she could have seen that /r/planetside was totally on her side.

The problem is that their subscriber base is just so relentlessly shitty that that's not gonna stop them from witch hunting anyone who disagrees with them.

                          Brigading is the unsolvable problem of internet communities. How many is a brigade, dealing with the Streisand Effect (i.e. "they deleted it so there must be a conspiracy behind it"), people being anonymous assholes, "my team brigades for justice, they brigade for chaos". Add a sprinkle of undiagnosed mental disorder to taste.

                          People complain that the rules on brigading are vague not really understanding there's really no concrete rules you could enforce that would make ANYONE happy.
