The reason I made this post is because I have seen many post recently praising people for being self diagnosers, I have seen many tumblr descriptions claiming they have “self diagnosed autism and ptsd as well as schizophrenia ” and you know what, that is scary. I am scared for these young kids who think they have these problems because the Internet says so, I am scared for the young kids on here who may turn to self treatment drugs that are highly addictive, who do not know how to properly dose themselves. This is not about ragging on people, this is about their safety and well being.
