It was funny, because it was all accurate.

You, and everyone else ITT that thinks "this wasn't funny" is a regular in the various Basketball related subs.

You just can't take the joke.

It actually wasn't funny because it wasn't accurate. All the stereotypes they poke fun at haven't been true in years, and some were never true.

Not to mention there were plenty of things they could have made fun of that would be both accurate and funny, but they instead opted for lazy writing.

yeah, that was my problem with it.. those jabs would make more sense for the NFL, but those stereotypes aren't even NBA sterotypes - the "high school dropout" part in particular i found really stupid considering you pretty much have to finish high school to get to the NBA. i honestly don't know of any NBA players that didn't finish high school (other than foreigners, maybe). that was just a stupid jab cause of how blatantly not true it is

I'm not really a basketball fan and I didn't think it was that funny. It's a trite joke that they didn't really do anything new with. Definitely one of Key and Peele's weaker skits.

I agree with you. The people who hate it are the kind of people who watch the NFL draft and record rebound stats for NBA games ... telling them "it's a bunch of millionaires playing a child's game" -- cuts too deep. It's telling them their watching and adoration of the game as anything greater than ... well, pointless entertainment ... is ridiculous, and they can't face that.

"Pointless entertainment"? I never understood this. Entertainments only point is to be entertainment.
