Yeah, let's see you get imprisond for two months sometimes for a bogus charge, then have nothing ever come out of it. After all, they're imprisoning you, and they're "the law", so they're absolutely right. Then we'll see how much you like it.

Be a police apologist if you want. Just realize that there are plenty of confirmed cases of illegal imprisonment. Often people that have had completely clean history, just picked up and jailed because someone with a badge didn't like 'em.

Honestly, I don't even understand your stance. You have to be one of those people that thinks, "Well, they broke the law, so we have to punish them for their entire life." You don't believe in rehabilitation? You don't believe in bad decisions and mistakes? You don't believe in second chances? Well then, I certainly feel bad for you, and will pity you if something untoward ever puts you on the wrong end of the system. Hell, I'll even advocate for your rights just as much as anyone else, because I don't believe in undue punishments, regardless of what someone may or may not have done in their past.

But, believe you me, I think you're a shitty person, and I won't shed any tears if you get yourself mixed up in something and end up recanting your position later because you were one of the ones that got shit on instead of a random stranger you don't know.
