Garbage. They replaced Comedy Central's greatest star with a curmudgeonly old black man who hates America. Larry Wilmore is the second to last nail in Comedy Central's coffin. That immigrant who they affirmative actioned the Daily Show to is going to be the final nail.

Not even Key & Peele are going to be able to save them now. Hopefully some miracle will occur and land them on FX or something before it's too late.

That immigrant

Who....Who cares if its an immigrant? Are you that xenophobic?

Who cares about Trevor Noah's immigration status? I just think they really jumped the shark by not offering it over to Jessica Williams. But, perhaps they did, and she wasn't interested.

I'm sure they vetted her and she didn't hold up.

Jon Stewart went toe to toe with major executives and heads of state. Those days are just about over for the Daily Show.

What makes you think that?

Because I know how television works? It's not a matter of what I think. That's the only possible thing that could have happened.

They've obviously had a long time to look for Stewart's replacement. It's his show, and his legacy. He gave them a lot more than 2 weeks notice...

Jessica Williams was pushed into the spotlight before Trevor Noah. Wyatt Cenac before her. Wyatt Cenac actually has the composure to host a comedy show based on serious topics. If he didn't hold up to their standards, Jessica Williams surely didn't.

Trevor Noah did something they liked. He held up in whatever hotseat they put him in, and was willing to take the amount of money they offered, so they chose him. I promise you it was the wrong decision.

Do you work in television? How do you "know how television works" anymore than the rest of us?
