There have been progressive steps into people having to justify socjus stuff, when it's always been on topic for a good reason because it's the exact same people.

Chris Plante wrote the article that lead to shirtgate. He's a co-founder of polygon and he's an editor for verge. He participated in the 'gamers are dead' media blitz.

When it's the same people causing these problems, it makes sense to stand united against the ideas they stand for, rather than stand divided.

Why should the people that don't care about the socjus stuff, dictate how that socjus stuff is presented?
