It is wrong that their identities were not protected. We do need to talk more about that. We were told enough to ev able to know who was likely molested, which is fucked up. That shouldn't be done befor the victims choose to come forward. shame on those who did that. It wasn't necessary to expose josh.

it was the victims themselves who named themselves in the news. Choosing to do so.

The confirmation that one of them was abused came from the Duggars' request to have the record destroyed. The Duggars had to know that this request would be made public in the circumstances, and that it was identifying one of the girls beyond any doubts. And the request claim that the very reason for the destruction is to protect that kid's identity in particular

In short : They don't give a fuck about their girls being identified.
